On our trip back home we stopped by to try this place, we visited the chain in TX and AZ before. Somehow the food was just good, no WOW fa tor and the service was disorganized. The wait was long even though the place was not full. Nothings special! Not sure about going back.

I just called the restaurant and a young lady answered the phone saying they have a 2 hour wait for pickup orders. I say wow, my husband say call back in see if get a different person. I did and a guy picked up n took my order and said nothing about a wait time. After i placed my order he told me my order will be ready in thirty minutes. That young lady needs to be fired she is not good for business.

I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl. Our waitress was amazing as always, but as a customer who’s been dining here for 25+ years, the menu changes are so incredibly disappointing. Why would you do that to the fried alligator and eliminate the best sauce around for it? They also had other dishes that used that sauce and they are gone as well. The fried mozzarella was different, like we were eating at a pizza joint. I understand that restaurants will alter their menus from time to time, but this was an absolute mistake. My kids were so disappointed about the alligator and I didn’t even bother to eat any today. We usually would order a ton but only had one order today and barely finished it, and there were seven of us. It’s enough for me not to return because a lot of the menu changes seem very tone deaf to me.
Edited to add: I forgot to mention that tables that arrived after us were receiving their food before we were; my niece is the one who noticed. I thought maybe they were getting their food first because we were a party of 7 but a party of 5 isn’t that much bigger. I still didn’t think much of it until I looked over the recent reviews and saw other customers with the same complaint. Again, our waitress was amazing, so this is the fault of the kitchen… much like the menu.

Really nice atmosphere with gas lamps flickering and beautiful decorations. Wait staff are well trained, know the menu, and are very friendly. When completely full, which is every weekend, it can get loud and difficult to hear, and there is a roving band that plays jazz at your table, which is a little too much. Expect severe sticker shock, as prices have always been high, but now are astronomical. This is the kind of restaurant that is reserved for extra special occasions.

Never have we ever had a bad experience here & we love the food which is why we chose to come here for my wife's birthday yesterday(12/13/25). We made a reservation for 1:15pm on a Saturday & it was not busy, maybe half the tables were taken. When we arrived, we were promptly seated. I asked to be moved to a booth next to the table we were initially given & were allowed to switch without issue. Our waitress (Titianna) took more than 20mins to present herself. She asked if we were celebrating any special occasion & I stated yes, that it was my wife’s birthday. She wished her a happy birthday and proceeded to take our drink & appetizer order, then returned with drinks a few minutes later. Our appetizers arrived approximately 20 minutes after that, around 1:50-1:55. She then took our entree orders at that point. She returned 20 minutes later around 2:15pm to say our orders were coming right up. Mind you, my 4yr old son was starving because he didn't want the appetizers but would rather wait for his meal. He began to pick at the batter on the calamari we had ordered to satisfy his appetite, poor thing. At approximately 2:30pm I asked her when our food would be done as it only consisted of two shrimp Po’ Boys, a fried shrimp kids meal & a Caesar salad for my daughter, she said almost. At that point, we noticed a family that was seated at our initial table was already done, & packing their meals to take home. I proceeded to ask for a manager at 2:35pm. My wife patience grew thin & went to the hostess to request for a manager after being ignored twice. At 2:45pm, the manager appeared(did not get his name) & we explained the situation. We advised him that we were expecting to depart the restaurant by 3pm as we had other plans & had still not been served our entrees. He apologized & stated they had quickly become busy & proceeded to mention two large parties & other new customers as if we did not matter. Shouldn't it be first come, first served?? I said if our meals were not ready, we wanted to cancel the orders & leave. He said he would remove the items from our bill so I asked if we were cleared to leave(I was expecting him to comp the appetizers & drinks due to the terrible service). He stated no, that we were still liable for the items we had been served. At that point, (an hour and a half after arriving) I got up & went to the hostess to request my bill. I was not willing to rely on Titianna to even do that! I was informed I could not pay up front, so Titianna presented me with the bill for $100 & I gave her my card. I asked for the General Manager's information & corporate number. Paid the bill & left the premises. Needless to say, we won't be returning. They couldn’t even provide us with good service on my wife’s birthday for goodness sake. They need to get their priorities straight!
