- CGCarolyn GioiaJan 4, 20265.0Hostess was fast and kind! We ended up sitting at the bar. The bar was spotless - beer trough was clean. Beer taps were labeled. Cabinets under bar were clean. Nothing was stacked on top of the chillers. No fruit flies. Dry racks were clean. Booze was stacked neatly on the bar. Glasses looked polished. TVs looked brand new. Bartender was excellent. Food was fast and delicious. No dust in the ceiling beams (that’s always gross when you see that - mixed with grease). No cluttered decorations. Their brewery beer was a nice selection for a small town brewery. I worked as a bartender and server for ten years and pay attention to those small details. You can be a great local bar without being gross, and this place is an example of that. The owners and managers should be proud, it’s so well ran. We def. will be back. I think the only thing that made me mad was that we didn’t come in sooner after we moved to Arlington Heights.
