I ordered a cake for my son's birthday online on January 2nd for pick up at 2pm on January 8th.Mind you, there is no option to prepay for the cake online and the CONFIRMATION email states "The store will contact you with any questions or concerns regarding the cake order." Questions or concerns, not that they are required to call you and confirm the day of pick up that you are still ordering the cake otherwise they will not make it. I will give credit, the store tried to call me around 11:30 am and left a voicemail. I was at work where I have no cell reception and did not receive this until hours later. I tried calling around 1:30 pm to inform the store that I was running late at work and will be by later in the evening to grab the cake. Did I talk to anybody? No, because the phone just rang for two minutes and then disconnected the line. I only have a limited time on break to walk outside my job and have cell reception. Then I received two more calls at 1:45pm and 1:50pm which I also did not receive until hours later. Maybe I could've spoken to someone and confirmed if any of the employees answered the phone when I called the first time. I arrived to the store after grabbing my children around 5:45pm. I let them know my name and that I was there to pick up the cake.i was informed that nobody made the cake because I did not answer the phone.i told them I was at work, how would I have been able to call them and that I did call and nobody answered. The man was incredibly rude and basically said too bad, I should've found time to call and that they can still make the cake but it will be at least half an hour wait. Which I did not have the time to wait, I had my older child and my toddler fell asleep in the car. I also drove from two towns over just to pick up the cake. And why should I have to wait? I ordered SIX DAYS in advance and attempted to call the store. Overall, my son picked out a random cake from their limited selection(he chose a Christmas cake when he really wanted a Superman cake) and one of the few decent employees wrote his birthday message on there. Either clearly state in the CONFIRMATION EMAIL that customers are REQUIRED TO CONFIRM OR WILL NOT HAVE A CAKE or let the customer pay for the cake ahead of time. I would've gladly done so to avoid this mess and my son would've had the cake he actually wanted. Good job disappointing a seven year old kid. Between the screwed up way of handling the order and the terrible customer service, we will never order a cake nor patronage this dairy queen again.

The ice cream at this specific location has gone downhill IMMENSELY in recent months. I don’t want an already melted cone, and no it’s not because of the weather. If I’m spending $5 for a cone, it better be cold and not taste like melted, thin, chocolate goo. I almost want to get a job there after my 9-5 just to figure out what is going on here and fix it. Look into this DQ corporate. Seriously. The talk of the town FB page certainly is talking about it already.

We come to this location a couple times a week via the drive through and always get great service and good food (fries are the best around). I ask for a cup a water as I normally do and got charged $3.00 for it, normally free. The receipt literally said water $0.00 but got charged for a large fountain drink. When inquired inside the resturant they said yes $3.00 for water. I can see 50 cents for the cup at a gas station but $3.00. Topping off the experience the blizzard barely had any butter finger in it, again something I get frequently.
