- TWTyshonna WebsterDec 26, 20251.0I had an extremely poor experience at this location this morning. I used the McDonald’s app to generate a reward for a free medium fry with purchase. The code was generated by the app, yet the drive-thru employee told me the code was “invalid” and insisted I refresh the app, even after I explained that doing so would force me to wait 15 minutes to use another reward. I pulled forward to show them the app and the code directly. The manager came over, confirmed that the code was from the app, and still refused to honor the reward or offer any resolution. Both the employee and manager were rude, dismissive, and offered zero customer service. When a company’s app malfunctions, customers should not be punished for it especially when they can clearly show the valid reward. This experience was frustrating and made me uncomfortable, to the point where I questioned how my food was handled. I will not be returning to this location.
