Not a vegan and this place was amazing. The jalapeño poppers were great and the veggie burger hit the spot. A must try whether you’re vegan or not.

The food is so gas and its so nice to have an entirely vegetarian menu!!!! I like the energy of the space, well decorated but not overwhelming. The only thing is that sometimes the service can be a little slow (regardless of it is super busy). Definitely worth a try tho!!!!!

A little disappointed. We went to The Chicago Diner for our anniversary dinner. We hadn't been in 5 years but had really fond memories of this place. There were only two servers for the entire restaurant but they were holding it down well. The poutine was probably my favorite thing we had, but thought they could have used a different cheese than melted vegan cheese (paneer would have been a good substitute). I ordered the country fried steak, but it was really tough to eat. The mashed potatoes that came with it were good. We ordered the lemon coconut cake for dessert but it was really dry.

It was fine for a place that's been around forever. There was a fair amount of options, but the food was very cookie cutter and lack luster. I think not being vegan myself maybe made it a bit more critical, but service was mid at best, we didn't have any silverware, we needed to ask for more water glasses, no one checked to see if we needed more drinks. Cool spot though, if I was vegan the menu would be a nice refuge from your typical place.
