MaKenna, Juan, and Chef Zack took spectacular care of us and gave my boy a phenomenal intro to Omakase. Sushi by Bou easily goes toe-to-toe with the other hyped up Sushi spots in Chicago. The mackerel is a can’t miss. 🍣

They were very passionate and knowledgeable about sushi, sake, cocktails, and their guests. I’d HIGHLY recommend the miso cod piece - we loved it so much we ordered another! This is definitely a must-visit if you’re in Chicago on a date, with friends, family, or honestly even by yourself :)

Raul the bartender made artfully balanced drinks, what a way to top off our experience! Our chef Zack was great and answered all my questions about what he was making. The food was so so so good especially for the price. My boyfriend loved the Big Mac off the à la carte menu as well! Will definitely be coming back/visiting other locations🤩

We were welcomed by Tashon, the restaurant’s coordinator, who explained what the evening what we are in for and took our drink order. Once the dining area was ready, we were escorted into another room where Chef Poon took great care of us. We were served a nigiri-style course, with each piece individually prepared right in front of us. The chef made the experience interactive, and we had a fantastic time. I would absolutely consider doing an omakase-style dinner again.
