Just spent half an hour trying to get on the phone with the cafe, called 6-7 times the employees here refused to pick up the phone so I kept getting redirected to the capital one phone service. My question was about the cafe, not my account so the operator, Luis, told me that there is nothing he can do to connect me to the cafe. After calling a few more times an attendant by the name of Pedro finally picked up and answered the question. I asked him to speak to the manager and he said he wasn't in the store. It would be much simpler to link a voicemail at the end of the call, but it seems like capital one prefers to make life harder for their customers. I do understand they must have been busy, but how is it possible to be so busy for half an hour straight? To refuse to answer a call for 30 minutes???? At some point incompetentence and laziness are the simpler answers. 0/5

Barista Frank is AMAZING. They were so patience with me while I was being so decisive about what I wanted to order. They took their time to listen, asked questions about what type of tea and flavors I like to narrow down my options. I had fun talking with them.
Shout out to Franky. Thanks so much. You're the best! 🤗

The people working there don’t want to be there . Very disrespectful! The guys making the food are so checked out. I ordered a avocado toast and I had it before - it had egg and bacon and this time around I asked for the same order and it was just bread and guac - so I asked one of the guys where is the egg and bacon and he said I never paid for the add ons on my sandwich. He never asked me when he took the order and I had that order before and it came with egg and bacon. He could have been respectful with me - but not ! Poor quality food and rude staff!

Very rude service. I went to eat there twice and both times I experience rude people. I even tipped them for the sandwiches and they still acted like they are doing me the best favor. The men working there have the worst attitude- they barely respond to a question if you address them and they roll their eyes often. They should be fired - if you can’t work a basic job like that and be respectful then go and flip burgers in the back of dive bar!

Capital One Cafe is a brilliant concept. It's the equivalent of a college common space. Its gigantic, two floors with every type of work area you can imagine (small tables in the sun, cozy nooks, private offices, large co work tables). People plop down with their coffee at 9 and don't leave until 5. If you work from home or are in college this is the best coffee shop I've been to in the city for that purpose. Employees are incredibly nice, coffee is decent. I've never tried their food but they have a large array of snacks. I feel lucky to have this in my neighborhood.
