Its my go item on the menu. However, the machine seems to be "not in service" quite a bit. Mostly when i want it the most. Suspicious. When the machine is working my vanilla cone orders are inconsistent in size. I either get a cone with the ice cream thats top heavy and ends up falling over at some point or a cone where the ice cream is just one and half swirls high - way to small. However the staff is always super friendly when i order my vanilla ice cream cone, so i continue to roll the dice and go back to this location more than any other location in Des Moines. I recommend you using the drive thru service. Its quick with short line times. Overall McDonald's rewards & bonus section is probably the best amoung thier fast food competitors. So take the time and use it when ordering to save a buck and rack up bonus points. Enjoy!

Then if you wait and order you get to the second window and they tell you to pull around and park and you wait like five more minutes. Slowest McDonald's in the world.
