Had a family dinner here with apps, mains and dessert. The entire experience did not compare with the cost of the dinner. Our waitress kept disappearing. One order was wrong. No-one ever asked for a second drink order. Water glasses went empty and we had to flag someone down. Food was very good- but not epic. It was so loud in the dining area you had to yell.

If you’re craving seafood and bold Cajun flavors in Georgia, this place should be at the top of your list. Everything is cooked to perfection. The grilled octopus comes out perfectly charred and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The crawfish étouffée is loaded with tender crawfish in a rich, deeply seasoned sauce full of that classic Louisiana spice. And the roasted oysters are just downright addictive. A fantastic spot for anyone who loves coastal Southern cooking done right. They’re almost always packed, so booking a reservation is your best bet if you want to avoid a long wait. Even with the crowds, the service stays impressively quick and efficient, making the whole experience seamless.

The food was good, and I appreciated the manager coming by to discuss my allergies. However, I noticed she came across as quite arrogant and dismissive while explaining things. Her smirking and laughing gave me the impression that she didn’t really care, which felt very unprofessional. In addition, the young waiter seemed poorly trained and was all over the place. I hope the establishment provides better training for the staff, especially this Duluth location, I love the Jimmy Carter Blvd location in Norcross.

Really really glad my friend suggested this place. It was a really great experience. The atmosphere was relaxed and the food was amazing!!! We started with calamari. The white sauce was addictive. I ordered the trout with crab and it was wonderful. The service was great. The desserts looked incredible, but we were stuffed by the time it was offered. I would absolutely come here again the next time I'm nearby.

I always enjoy going to Pappadeaux. It has become of those places that we treat our out of town guests too and when they come back it's on their must do list before leaving! Food is always great, especially the oysters. They're always piping hot if you like Rockefeller or fresh if you like raw. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Staff is attentive and pleasant. Drinks are good and atmosphere is great especially with the different seat options and always clean. Even though it gets pretty loud you're still able to hear your table mate. On the pricer side, but portions are sizeable. Usually a wait for dinner so reservations are recommended especially for the weekends so sometimes I'll go to the bar, but I always will recommend the Gwinnett location!
