I am responding to your review in order to clarify the facts and address several inaccuracies. My original call to your establishment was my first interaction as a potential new customer. I was not greeted, asked how you could assist me, or given an opportunity to state the purpose of my call. Instead, I was met with raised voices, internal conversation directed at someone else, and an instruction to “hang up the phone,” all before any customer service engagement occurred. At no point did I threaten anyone, nor did I reference or involve myself in any prior incident involving another individual. Associating me with an unrelated situation is inaccurate and inappropriate. And you included someone's else name in my review now u opening yourself up for legal problems,I had no knowledge of, nor involvement in, any previous issue you may have experienced with someone else. The core issue remains unchanged: • The call was handled in an unprofessional manner • Basic customer service standards were not met • I was not given the opportunity to speak or be assisted • Accountability was deflected rather than addressed Whether your business is family-owned or otherwise is irrelevant. Ownership structure does not excuse conduct. Covering inappropriate behavior instead of correcting it only enables repetition and undermines the credibility of the business. This is not about blame-shifting or personal offense. It is about acknowledging a legitimate customer experience and addressing it with professionalism and responsibility. I am documenting this response to ensure the facts are accurately represented. My intention was never to escalate, but transparency and accountability matter—especially when first impressions are involved and Wisdom teaches us that correction is not an attack, and accountability is not disrespect. When feedback is met with defensiveness instead of reflection, the opportunity for growth is lost. Customer concerns are not personal indictments—they are operational indicators. Ignoring them does not protect a business; it weakens it. Professional leadership requires the humility to pause, listen, and address behavior rather than justify it. Blending unrelated situations, spiritual language, or assumptions into a customer interaction only distracts from the facts and escalates what should be resolved calmly and responsibly. True strength in business is shown through integrity, composure, and a willingness to correct what is misaligned—regardless of who is involved. I wish your establishment growth, but growth only happens where accountability is allowed. Respectfully, Keisha

My favorite local black owned restaurant!!! Highly recommended. I come here every week and the food never disappoints! It's right next to my house and I'm glad I found it. Been coming for close to two years now, and every time my cousin and brother are visiting, they ask to go by. From when I walk through the door, until my drink and food arrive, I only have the warmest experience. Ms. Lo, is a sweetheart and always makes sure I'm taken care of. From the owner to the servers, they're good people who care. The food is reasonably priced and the atmosphere is always clean and comfortable. If you're in the Jonesboro- Clayton County area, you have to stop by and try it. The Sweet potato waffles or the Caribbean Salmon are my go-to!!!

If you want professional accountability good service good customer service and managers and supervisor that's going to hold employees accountable for their actions and their choices then don't go here but if you want rude and disrespectful an ignorant and shift blaming then go here and it doesn't matter how good the food is if the customer service is bad what is good food without good customer service see that's what happens when you and the family business they don't want to hold the other person accountable because of the family business but that same love that you have for that family member or have your establishment shut down all because they don't know how to act and treat people but you knew that before you brought them there around customers when this is your bread and butter it says a lot about whoever owns it if they won't treat people like that mean you ain't got no control over that person listen save yourself a headache and an argument or back and forth and just go somewhere else

This was the best decision I’ve made finally trying this spot! I originally discovered it while DoorDashing and decided it was time to come in and try it for myself. I ordered the omelet, and my boyfriend got the chicken and waffles. Everything was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. In my boyfriend’s words, it tasted so good it was like “crack” was put in it—just that addictive! The customer service was amazing as well. Honey, the owner, was incredibly sweet and personable, and I really enjoyed our conversation. If you ever decide to stop by, just know you’ll enjoy not only your meal but the experience and conversation too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Honestly…. They have absolutely no business being this good Lol in all seriousness, every time I come here they knock it out the park. The waffles are ridiculous in the best way possible (if you get red velvet or peach cobbler don’t even bother with adding syrup. The flavor of the waffles and toppings alone is a decadent treat that doesn’t need anything added.) and the chicken ??? Crispy and juicy and flavorful. We always get an extra serving of the wings with the chicken & waffle plate. And a large side of those delicious pepper jack grits. I thought maybe I was gassing them up so I invited my family to try this place for Christmas Eve brunch to get a second, third and fourth opinion. We did a take out order and the food was just as amazing as take out as it was when I ate there in person. My whole family confirmed what I knew to be true - that chef is in the back throwing DOWN in the kitchen. The wait can be a little long at times but for freshly cooked food that is this delicious, I promise the wait is ALWAYS worth it.
