Before I even had a chance to touch the screen, the cashier grabbed it and added a tip without my knowledge or consent. When she realized I saw what happened, she tried to hand me cash to cover it. This felt very dishonest and sneaky. A customer should always be the one to choose whether or not to leave a tip — not have it added for them. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and needs to be addressed.
