I’d like to start with the fact that I know they are new and still working things out. But they were an absolute mess tonight. From the moment we got there. I put us on the waitlist online and chose a 530 time. We got there around 515 and checked in. At around 530 I realized I never got the text saying we checked in. We were waiting in the car since there were lots of people already outside waiting. So I called and sure enough, she didn’t check us in. So I explained that to the guy on the phone and he said no problem, he moved us up the list to where we should be and it would only be another 15-20 minutes. I got the text at 532 saying we were checked in. At 620 I get the text saying our table is ready, almost an hour later. Got to the host stand and our table was in fact not ready. Waited another 15 minutes in the way near the host stand before we were finally sat, at a table that still had food crumbs on it along with the chairs. The night continued with our very lost server. We were a table of 7 and ordered two bloomin onions, only received one, oh well. But then waited another hour for our food, they were busy, I get it. Two of our plates came out without the veggies. Another meal was prepared wrong. But our server was nowhere to be found, so we asked the food runner about refills and fixing the problems with the meals. She was very kind and did fix our meals and got our server to bring refills. We told our server from the beginning that we will split the bill only 2 ways, and we sat appropriately to make it easier for him. Told him when we were ordering who was on which check. Then also when we asked for our checks told him again who and what for each check. Messed it up, we corrected him and unfortunately gave him our cards thinking he could handle the mixup. He did not. In fact he charged our card twice because he left a meal off and still managed to put the only onion we got and one of our meals on the other check. We said forget it we will figure it out amongst ourselves. What a mess. We surely will not be back for quite some time. They still have a lot to work out. Mind you this was our second visit there since they opened. The first time was a bit messy but nothing compared to tonight. They have a lot of work to do for sure. But also it was very poor planning on their part to build such a small version of their restaurant for this area. The parking is terrible and the actual seating area is very limited and cramped. I also want to add that I talked with Austin before we left and he was very kind and understanding, good person to have as a manager.

Ive dined in here 3 times and 2/3 of those times I noticed this young man. Darker skinned, silver earrings, he wore long sleeves under his shirt. This young busser was doing it all. Heavy lifting, Bussing multiple tables in one go, spraying, resetting, even helping a guest. However a couple days ago. I overheard a lot of side conversations about how he was doing everything and a second busser ( who was believed to be a girl) wasn’t doing anything and was just in the back chatting or something like that. The fact that he had a slight grimace backed up what we heard. Young man had minimal help but he still did his thing 🙏🏾 there was another white busser, brown hair.also had a similar expression on his face. He was doing some great work too tho, i think we heard someone call him bryce or pryce. I wish i could’ve gotten the other young man’s name tho. Also would’ve tipped them both but i rarely carry cash. These two make one of the busser duos ive seen, but they need some help whenever it gets crowded. Maybe even a raise too. Im writing this on my brothers phone because mine is dead rn lol.

This place has a lot of growing to do… Got there and our call ahead was lost. Still got a seat within 15 minutes due to their mess up. Ordered within 10 minutes of being seated. Sat for another hour with 2 kids (2 and 6)waiting for food. Finally told the servicer to just box up our food to go. Then took another 15 minutes because our food was not even ready yet. Got home with our to go bag only to realize all of our food wasn’t there and what was there was very poor quality. Over done fillet, missing items, joke of a fruit bowl, bacon bits in salad too hard to chew but was full of them, and overall poor taste for everything. The location is half the size of a normal Outback and simply cannot accommodate the amount of people wanting to dine. Consider yourself lucky if you never get a seat and go else where, it’s 100% not worth any kind of wait. Maybe will try again in a year or so if this place is even still open.

We decided to try Outback on a Saturday night. The waiting system definitely needs some work — after being told it would be about a 45-minute wait, we ended up waiting an hour without ever being paged. My husband went to check with the hostess, and she told him we had already been paged (which we hadn’t) and sent us to the host stand. The hosts seemed frustrated with us, even though we were just following the directions we were given. Once seated, service was okay but inconsistent. Our server was polite but seemed unsure about the drink menu — I asked for a specific Cabernet from the menu, and he appeared confused, and when my husband ordered a Miller Lite, he was told they were out on draft (even though the menu lists it as a bottle). Our appetizer came out quickly, but the rest of our food took quite a while. I ordered my daughter’s meal first so it could come early, but it came out with the entrées instead. We also ordered soup and salad, which never came before the main dishes — I had to ask for them once entrées were already served. The manager did come over on her own and apologize, offering to remove the soup and salad from our bill, which I appreciated. However, when I went to pay about 30 minutes later, nothing had been removed. I went ahead and paid anyway, and while my daughter was finishing dessert, the manager returned, noticed we had paid, and said she’d bring gift cards instead — but unfortunately, she never came back. At that point, we’d been there for over two hours and were ready to leave. I completely understand this location is new, and as someone who’s worked in the service industry for 10+ years, I always try to give grace. But if a manager offers to remove items or provide a courtesy, it’s important to follow through promptly. It makes a big difference in how guests feel taken care of. Hoping this feedback helps the team improve, because the food itself was good — the service side just needs some tightening up.

I went for lunch at 11:30am. Thursday . I was greeted and seated promptly. I waited 15min. without being even acknowledged. The couple across from me got seated and after 10min. They got their drink order taken. Then their food order was taken. The lady told the man she was with that I had been there before them. By then I had had enough. I told the lady up front who had seated me the issue and said I was leaving. I returned to give our new Outback another try on Saturday at 2:30 pm. Once again greated and seated promptly. 10min. Before we even got approached by wait staff. (The restaurant was not crowded.) Then 10 more minutes to receiving our water and soft drink. Our order was taken. Then 15min later we got our soup and salad. The waiter disappeared. We had to get other staff to get him out of the back 2 different times for a spoon. It's easier to eat soup with one. And a drink refill. We also saw another couple leave before getting served. They had been there 20min. I've always loved Outback Steakhouse and I'm worried this location will be nothing but bad news for the company in general. It took a long time for this location to open. Maybe it should have taken LONGER. I tried your empty apology website and it is just your normal website. There's nowhere to get this resolved on there. Don't worry. I will NEVER be back to this location. Buford and Gainesville have my business. GOOD LUCK. You are going to need it.
