  Food was nasty over seasoning the corn was burn butter beans was over seasoned .the prices all to high fish was unseasoned the pound cake was dry and the strawberry lemonade was not sweet

  Well well let me say smelled good but taste awful 😞 dressing is stuffing with heat, macaroni and cheese cheesy but goodie overcooked pasta the greens taste like can greens I cook my last name says it all in those were canned greens just watery and no hearty taste the chicken dried out old as if it was cooked previously and it was cold the meal was 19 sum one plate say three sides really only two bc they count the one with the meal smh.we tried it and here it is the review for my peeps to know that it ain't it for real for real 💯

  Our food was amazing and the owners & staff were just as awesome. We look forward to going back. The Atmosphere & music was spot on as well.

  Okay, so I decided I wanted some soul food, and DoorDash recommended this place. The food was a tad bit cheaper online, but when I called the order in, the prices were way higher. Either way, I ended up spending over $90 for four plates and three desserts. Honestly, too TMH, the food was absolutely putrid. I don’t know if it was just a bad day for them, but someone was very heavy-handed with the salt and pepper. We couldn’t even taste the actual food. The desserts were sour, and I have never in my life had watery, sour peach cobbler or candied yams like that. Seriously y’all. What was supposed to be red velvet cake was hard and crumbled just from touching it. The oxtails and pork chops were dry and tough. It was so bad that I genuinely want my money back. That’s how disappointed I am. To say two positive thing, my husband said he liked his hamburger steak, but after he tasted my food and the kids’ plates, he quickly changed his mind. Also the young lady I spoke with was nice with explaining what they had. Sorry y’all, but this just isn’t it. I honestly feel like I was SCAMMED!

  The food is delicious and the owners and staff are very friendly, the only problem I have had is almost every time I order through ordereats I am missing something for my order. The last 3 times including today. It would be nice if there was more attention placed on getting the complete order prepared for the take out or delivery orders.
