Came in yesterday with a couple friends. There was a wait, but the hostess didn't have a pen to write our name down. She said to just come back in 15-20 minutes. We came back, but we're not on the list, so we had to ask around for a table. Not a great first impression. We got seated outside, which was actually perfect because it'sa nice patio. Our server seemed very aloof and didn't really know what was going on. She finally took our order. After my friends' drinks came out, someone else came to tell me they were out of something for my drink, so I had to start over. Eventually, I got my second choice, and it was just ok. The server tried to charge me for the original drink, so again, totally mentally checked out (looked surprised when I reminded her that they were out). The 4 stars are for the food. The steak sandwich was absolutely perfect! I'd absolutely got back for that and the bakery items. We ordered the rum cake and I took some desserts home. Absolutely phenomenal food, but they need to get it together in the service area.

I visited this restaurant for the first time for breakfast while exploring the area after my move.
I ordered the steak sandwich and a cappuccino two of each and the check came out to about $60 with tip.
The coffee was honestly so good, I’ll definitely be coming back here just to grab it to-go.
The sandwich was delicious as well, and the atmosphere felt really pleasant.
Definitely recommend.

Juices we’re delicious - and I run a juice bar cafe. Green juice had very nice touch of ginger. Came after kitchen closed but Ana was great and got me accommodated with fantastic quiche.
Porch was a little untidy but I think they were just done being very busy but would be worth clearing it sooner as it’s front facing to a lot of people. Will come back!

A little goes a long way…..Another good experience here, all was excellent. The attention to details and presentation was amazing. My food was brought to my table by a cute dark haired young woman. Her attitude was pleasant. As I was preparing to depart, I stacked my plates to make it easy for someone to cleanup after me. Apparently this did not go unnoticed, as I heard a voice say “thank you”, it was the young woman that served me. The attention to detail is impressive and her notice of my attempt to help clean up was greatly appreciated!

Severely disappointing. When you pay that much for avocado toast and all you get is the lightest schmear of it on the bread, that is not avocado toast. A quarter of the bread was taken up with lemon wedges. It was topped w/ literally 2.5 grape tomatoes when I’ve seen actual fresh chopped tomatoes on other pics. The bread was so crunchy it was hard to cut w/ the knife and the egg that I paid extra for, which was ordered as over medium, was served over well/burnt. We paid $40 for a cup of tea, an “omelette,” and the avocado toast with egg. I tipped on the order and shouldn’t have. They gave me my tea at the counter and the only interaction ever w/ any “server” was when someone brought the 2 plates of food to our table. This was our first time here and we would not return here again. My friend’s “omelette” was really more like scrambled egg that had been poured into a skillet and then when it was almost done, they topped it w/ her toppings. It was also weird b/c they covered it w/ the salad. She said the meal was salty and gave it a 7 out of 10, which was super generous. Skip this place if you want a real meal. Maybe it’s good for a pastry and a coffee, maybe. But it’s not a breakfast spot I could ever recommend to anyone.
Also, right now if you want to sit outside, you have to listen to really loud construction so we chose to sit inside. If you sit inside, you cannot have a private conversation b/c all of the tables are in one row along the wall and you sitting right next to other people who aren’t in your party.
Plus you have to pay for parking to come here. You either have to pay at a meter (which cost each of us about $4 for an hour and 15 min worth of parking) or you have to pay to park in a parking garage which is about 2 city blocks away.
The whole experience was totally not worth it.
