About

Taco Restaurant
Talkin' Tacos™ started as a food truck in the Miami community, aiming to provide the best Mexican food in South Florida. But as we grew a larger and larger following, the lines around our food truck became too hard to keep up with. We knew we needed to expand into a restaurant space to be able to serve our awesome customers more of our famous tacos and Mexican food every day.

The tacos are awful and not made to order. I did the taco trio. The chicken achiote was covered in so much sauce it was soggy. The birria was dry and tough and the sauce to dip looked like it had been sitting out for days and was so watered down. The bean taco was ice cold. Not sure how this place has any good reviews but wouldn’t try again.

I don’t know what the deal is at your Wellington location because it was awesome before. We went there like a year ago and it’s been a talking point for us because it was so good but so far from Stuart. We finally drove down there this week and let me tell you guys, the staff is atrocious and I can tell it’s affecting the food. Start off with the fact that you’re asking for a tip before the food is even out which is a problem towards begin with, tips are to ensure proper service and trust me I did the restaurant game for 25 years. You have someone come out and just slam these half sheet trays in the table who is clearly in a bad mood. Not so much as a smile or a hello in the place. Our two orders of Birria tacos were absolutely outstanding but the consome was lacking flavor, carne asada tacos had good flavor but it’s all ruined by poorly trimmed steak with tough fat, rendered fat is amazing and delicious but tough fat is awful to chew on. We also had a birria burrito, after we finally got a hold of someone I asked them if this was suppose have crushed takidninside of it? The answer was “we out” and walking away. Good thing we had consome left from th birria tacos since we did not get that either. Cold stale tortilla chips were the kicker. We have hyped this place up so much to people only to be so severely disappointed. Listen a miserable staff will ruin your restaurant, I would advice your management team to put some accountability into staff behavior because if these people go work at a real restaurant… like one of my four restaurant, they would be terminated immediately. Work can suck but our guest and food should never suffer because we’re having a bad day or are unhappy with our employment choices.

Have been to this location several times. The food is great, but I recently got a delivery order through a third party service. The order came perfectly packaged with no leakage into the bag, yet my Consume came with maybe 4 tablespoons of liquid: no cilantro or onions. I called to make the aware they need to make sure the staff is filling them in a very polite way of course. Very frustrating after paying almost $70 for 2 people for burritos with sides and no drinks that no refund or replacement was offered. Often times in store the employees look like they don’t want to be there and the music is obnoxiously loud. Food is AMAZING but the service lacks. Given the prices you pay a premium compared to their local competitors. Not sure we will be coming back especially to this location. People want to connect through food and enjoy background music … absolutely, but when I can’t hear someone directly across from me that’s an issue. Really loved this place when first opened, but these recently experiences have been disappointing.

The food took forever to come out, it was cold. The chips were stale, the service was horrible. I was the first to order food, i watched everyone eat that came in after me and I asked about my food and they just look at me with a blank face. Everyone had on ear pods and headphones wich I thought was very rude. Every question had a response se of huh, what.ill never come back

Talkin’ Tacos in Wellington deserves all the stars. From the moment we walked in, someone greeted us at the door and made sure we knew exactly how to order from the kiosk. They even checked on us afterward to make sure everything was good. Our food and drinks came out quickly, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming, perfect for a quick lunch or a casual night out. Great service, great food, great vibes. I’ll definitely be back.
