  Went here for the first time Wednesday night for my sister's birthday dinner. The food was amazing! I had a sushi appetizer that was mouth watering. Chilean sea bass for dinner and a salad with their creamy ranch dressing, everything was so good. Service was a little slow but they were pretty busy especially for a Wednesday night . It is definitely a pricey place but sophisticated. I will definitely be back.

  We arrived on time for our reservation but were kept waiting at the door, which was quite disappointing. It was a special day for us, yet instead of feeling valued, we were rushed throughout the meal. Even though we were told at the entrance that there was no timing issue, it felt like we were being pushed to finish quickly and leave. We truly didn’t expect such an experience. We suggest visiting only if you have plenty of time and patience.

  I have been to ocean prime many times because normally the atmosphere, service, and food is top quality. However today was terrible in each category. Barbara was our server who was nice but the work ethic is lacking or just lack of care. 1) we saw the vey first thing everybody was receiving was bread on the table , and we never received any bread. We asked 3x times for bread which took 20 minutes for us to receive. They were folks who sat after us getting bread before us. 2) When we ordered our appetizer, me and my family prayed before eating and she came to disrupt our player to ask us if we wanted to place in an order. 3) someone else consistently filled our waters which was great and also delivered our food which wasn’t Barbara. And when I received my steak the other waiter says here’s your “ medium rare “ steak. And I told him I ordered a medium, he took my steak went back to the kitchen and 10 seconds later and goes sorry this is actually a medium. So I cut into the steak and it was indeed medium rare. I waited 15 mins while my family was eating for someone else to take my food and cook my steak some more. After another 15 mins some dude in a suit ask me to cut it to make sure if it’s a medium. And it was well done but I was so hungry I just said it was fine. I ate my food, and the only thing she did other than take our orders was provide me a check. Her attitude, her lack of effort was not it. Ocean prime doesn’t really have misses like this but today was a MISS especially from Barbara.

  Ocean Prime used to be one of my absolute favorite restaurants. I went there multiple times a month and often brought clients because the food and service were always top-notch. Unfortunately, my last two visits have been a letdown. One visit took over 3 hours because of long delays getting our food, and even when we asked for the check, it took another 20 minutes. The next time I came with clients, several of our steaks were raw inside. The server took them back, but we had to wait while everyone else finished eating and there was no offer of compensation or even an apology on the check. This is not the level of service I’ve come to expect from Ocean Prime. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously, I’ve spent thousands dining here over the years and would love to see it return to the excellent experience it once was.
