I had a very disappointing experience at Rainforest Cafe. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet our party of 11 was told there would be a 45-minute wait on a Wednesday afternoon. Shortly after, a larger group of 15 arrived and was seated right away, which was frustrating and confusing. When I asked about it, I was told there were no available servers, but that didn’t seem consistent with what we saw. The situation felt unfair and left a bad impression.

Amazing views, loved the restaurant to look at, food was good the service was so bad I would not go back. Asking for a side plate was to much to ask for, and insisting the kids plate that was given was what we should use. It was uncomfortable, the food came out a little wrong and the blue ice drink after 25 minutes we was told finally they didnt have it after saying it would come out shortly. The restaurant was empty. Shame if you dont like to serve you shouldn't be in the industry. I underatand its a hard job but there are people that would do it with at least a smile

I’ve been coming here for years, even since I was a kid. I went for lunch with my wife and our two young children and the service was horrible. The kids’ burgers looked like small sausage patties you’d get from a fast-food restaurant rather than actual burgers. The sampler appetizer was decent but then we noticed two small cockroaches on the floor nearby. At that point we immediately stopped eating, asked for the check, and left the restaurant. This is concerning given that this is primarily a restaurant for children. I will be reporting this to the local food safety authorities.

I had a very disappointing experience at Rainforest Cafe inside Sawgrass Mills.
From the moment we sat down, the service was extremely poor and disorganized. Our server Alexandro was practically nonexistent. We waited over 20 minutes just to receive our drinks, and during that entire time no one came by to check on us or even acknowledge the delay. It felt like our table had been completely forgotten.
When the food finally arrived, it was another huge disappointment. The quality was far below what you would expect for the prices they charge. The food looked rushed, poorly prepared, and honestly not appetizing. It was so bad that we barely touched it and left most of it sitting on the table.
What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of management presence. There was no manager visible anywhere to address concerns or help resolve the situation. When service is this poor, there should at least be someone supervising the floor and making sure customers are taken care of.
This place clearly relies on the theme and tourist traffic from the mall, but unfortunately the actual dining experience doesn’t match the atmosphere at all. Long waits, inattentive service, and low-quality food make it hard to justify coming here.
Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing visit. Between the slow service, lack of attention, and poor food quality, it’s safe to say we will not be returning. There are far too many better dining options nearby to waste time and money here.
⭐️ Extremely disappointing experience.

El peor customer service. 2 hora esperando por una mesa y los meseros haciendo cuento y las mesas vacias .muy mala educación y no hay profecionalismo los peores trabajadores no vale la pena dar propina .el peor momento para mi y mi familia en un restaurants.
The worst customer service. We waited two hours for a table while the servers stood around chatting, even though there were empty tables available. The staff was incredibly rude and completely lacked professionalism—they are the worst employees; it’s not worth leaving a tip. This was the worst dining experience my family and I have ever had at a restaurant.
