Visited the establishment on 1/10/26 waited a bit before my server got to me,waited patiently,when she finally got there, very polite and professional, ordered my food along with an drink, the ribs that I ordered were dry, when my server came over and asked how is every thing,I politely said the ribs weren't good,she immediately apologized, and made everything right wasn't expecting what she did ,Lesley H is her name, glad to have had her as my server

So many good things to say about this Outback. Bryce the manager was great, checked on us to make sure everything was good. The server Verity was excellent. Would highly recommend this Outback if you are looking for a great steak.

Placed a delivery 📦 on there website on New Year’s Eve a little before 8 pm , 9:15 rolls around and no movement (which is handle by door dash) so I called and there was an issue with pairing order with the driver. The store made me a brand new order and we went and picked it up and they took care of everything . Super friendly and incredible customer service. Things happen and they did not have to take care of us like that but that’s the kind of people running this place . One of my favorite places in st Pete !!! Outstanding . You have me as a customer for life . Happy New Years.

Three other ladies and I enjoyed our dinners in a comfortable booth next to the bar. It was quiet enough for conversation. My margarita was awesome and only $8 at happy hour!
Everyone enjoyed their food although some said the meal (for example the salmon dinner at $27) was expensive! I had the Delmonico which was pricey but I hadn't had one in years. It came over done and a bit tough although I asked (according to their color chart) for it to be medium and it was not. However, they immediately came out of the kitchen and put a new one on for me not taking back the old one which I then brought home and put in the freezer using the acceptable portions for snacks. The seasoning they use on their steaks is absolutely awesome! I meant to ask if they sell it but forgot. Dave, the manager there has been extremely helpful and gracious in the past so I definitely go to the 4th Street location even though I am closer to Seminole!

So arrived at a afternoon lunch and it was nearly empty; unfortunately the man ahead of us was buying gift cards and bought what appeared to be a dozen or so and the hostess processed the transaction leaving us to wait 15 mins while she ran the transaction; ran and activated the cards and extra cards for each card purchased and printed their receipts for each card and brought him his business card that he signed the recipient for the purchase. Got to see it all. Then we were steated with all the other people behind us. A group had formed if I recall we were the first behind the man with the cards and 2 additional parties behind us. Our waitress i believe served all 3 parties. She came to us to get our drink orders. Unfortunately my guest with me doesn't know a rule of restaurants perhaps everyone needs to be aware of this. IF YOU READ THE MENU OUT OF BORDOM THE SERVER WILL WAIT TILL YOU SET IT DOWN TO COME TO YOUR TABLE. HE ALWAYS READS THE ENTIRE MENU OUT OF BORDOM AND HAS NEVER ASSOCIATED OUR LACK OF SERVICE WITH HIS READING THE ENTIRE MENU. So the server took all the orders of all the other people while he read the menu. We got our drinks while everyone else was eating their appetizers. WE placed our order eventually and we waited. The people after us got their appetizers dinners and desserts while we waited. Eventually we got our Bloomin Onion it was the darkest onion I had ever seen and it tasted burned. I DIDNT SAY A WORD!!!!!! WE ATE IT AND SMILED. Eventually our meals came my friend ordered chicken wings they were almost black as the onion and I questioned the server immediately; it was actually the designated kitchen person who brought to our table the disaster and I said do those look over done or what?? She said yes they did? She got the Server and she too admitted they were bad looking I really should have taken pictures. We didnt eat them and my meal only half of the burned onion and drank our drinks to swallow the onion. The manager came out of the kitchen he said he was the manager on duty which meant to me he wasn't the manager but a manager. Clearly after waiting for hostess doing a job the manager should be doing they were short staffed he was wearing full cooks gear and didnt have a manager clothes. However he explained that the oil MAY HAVE BEEN NEEDED TO BE CHANGED BECAUSE EVERYTGING WAS COMING OUT 2 SHADES SHORT OF BLACK BURNED CHARRED MESS. he apologized and said we didnt have to pay for any of it which We only had the drinks and half of the burned onion so that's for not making us pay for the burned entrees too. He handed us a free blooming onion card and sent us home. Unfortunately my friend said that was the 3rd time we had eaten there and each time the food wasnt perfect . I siad HOPE SRINGS ETERNAL AND I HAD HOPED THINGS WOULD IMPROVE AND UNFORTUNATELY THEY HAVE NOT. I had a family friend who was a manager of the chain and his restaurant always was perfect so I became accustomed to the quality of the food. However this location let us down 3 times now and my friend keeps getting gifts card from his work for dinners there. So his holiday party tomorrow should be another 100 dollar gift card in a stack of gift cards to Outback that we don't use much because each time has a disaster which leaves us to not want to use the cards this time we went and forgot the cards and it didnt matter the food and service wasnt significant enough to even tip the wait staff who only took the order and came by when there was a problem. Or a series of problems. Not addressing the problem of the onion only made the burnt wings more significant and in whole it wasn't a very good experience yet its been a on going problem of eating there paying and saying we won't go back and being rewarded with worse experiences each time we attempt to use hundreds of dollars of gift cards
