  Poor service. It was 3:30 pm when we went for coffee. The place was empty; however, the staff was chatting and not paying attention to the few customers they had at the moment. Our coffee was sitting on the counter when I went to asked why it was taking so long. It was cold. No apology. No offer to replace the drinks. I am very sorry this happened. This is a place I frequently go to for brunch with my family.

  Ismael was fantastic! He accommodated my taste preference, gave fantastic recommendations and was on top of everything. I had the smoked salmon croissant sandwich per his recommendation. So delicious, a little messy to eat but so good if you like salty, savory, salmon and lemon. We tried the pumpkin spice matcha hot and also cold; it was my least favorite. There’s parking on the side of the restaurant for $3.90 per hour.

  I wasn’t going to leave a review, but then I figured it could perhaps help someone out with intolerances as well. Firstly, they never answer the phone. I tried all their locations and no one answered. The one time they did, someone answered and i asked her if there’s any butter in one of their dishes, or if anything is made with butter. I got “uh yeah” and so i said okay is there anything in the dish strictly made with butter or can be made without, and they paused. I said hello? and they hung up on me. I called back a second later thinking the call got disconnected and they declined my call. I usually call any place I want to eat to see if modifications can be made ahead of time. If not, NBD. i just won’t eat there and it’s no offense taken, i mean i get not being able to modify dishes. But how rude can someone be to just hang up? Its a restaurant. It’s easy to go and ask if modifications can be made, but instead just not being able to hold a normal conversation or be kind? I really don’t understand. I really did want to try them and called each week for 2 weeks. Don’t bother going here

  The Service was “Excellent”… The food was fresh and on point…I observed the employees working together helping each other is what amazed me with top notch service… Highly recommend this place for breakfast and or afternoon coffee and snacks in a cozy environment……Breakfast can be very busy but worth the wait to be seated…

  Since I was here twice I feel like I can talk about my second visit even though I got nothing. First time was the cold brew tea. Delicious. 5/5 for food. :) However, I was displeased on my second visit because I wanted to be seated outside which ended up not being possible, for some reason, and also ended up being impossible for 3 different people to understand. First guy barely spoke English (Which for the record I don't have a problem with but if you are working at a restaurant in an English speaking country I assume you'd understand something as simple as "Do you have outdoor seating?") He brought another person out who also didn't understand. Third person also didn't understand. They did try and help and thought maybe I meant other things and so on but it just annoyed me because it looked cozy and I desperately wanted to sit down on Sunset with something light to eat. Impossible. Looking through the menu it didn't look too appetizing anyway. Most of the items were a bit convoluted when I wanted something simple. Also got the omelet but I had to make several choices about topping? Come on, just have an omelet, just have scrambled eggs have something simple. Scrambled eggs on toast maybe some avocado spread and I would stayed to eat. But since you guys have almost 5/5 you'd have no reason to listen to me :)
