The menu is incredible, prices are very good value for what we received, and all dishes were exemplary. We were only sorry that we had no room for any of the appealing desserts. And the reviews I'm seeing here are spot-on, giving me little to add. Thin-sliced: The appetizers, soups, salads and entrées I've seen or had: all amazing. As others say, "home-made" (and if you hear the story, truly a labor of love and a lot of history). Craving a decent moussaka, I found this little gem 2-3 years ago and return as often as I can, still loving the "Moussakas Politikos" (another story to ask about), both the signature soups (lentil & lemon), and various spreads, sides, and desserts. All wonderful. Long "retired" from ongoing restaurant reviews, I'm still an avid eater, and between the northeast and southeast, have a short list of favorites in New York and Sarasota mostly, the places where this restaurant owner has had restaurants over many years and adventures. Stella's is unpretentious but charming, lights twinkling everywhere, art from Greece, fantastic music, devoted owner & chef. I recommend it to friends, so why not 'here'? It's a small place, so don't all go at once! Do call, and reserve even, as it can fill up.
