We had an excellent dinner at Brio last night. Our server Mike was friendly and ensured we enjoyed every part of our meal. He checked on us several times and kept our drinks full. I heard a terrible rumor that Brio will be closing. I saw the manager walking around talking to tables. When she came to our table to make sure the meal and service were great I asked her about the restaurant closing. She reminded me you can’t believe everything you read on the internet and that Brio will be relocating not closing! I can’t wait to visit their new location when it opens.

We may have just experienced the gold standard of terrible service, courtesy of what has to be one of the rudest waitresses in America. From the moment we sat down, it was painfully clear we were an inconvenience, and she treated us accordingly—with open disdain and zero professionalism. There were six adults dining at Brio Waterside on Saturday, and not once did we feel welcome. The food was bland and forgettable, which somehow wasn’t even the worst part. Our server eventually disappeared altogether, abandoning the table without explanation. Another server had to step in and, unbelievably, asked us to reconstruct our own orders so the bill could be figured out. If that doesn’t sum up the dysfunction of this restaurant, nothing does. This was our first visit to Brio—and without question, our last. An absolute waste of time and money.

Visited here 3 days ago during the holidays. It was very busy. We had a reservation ahead of time, and they seated us about 10 mins after our arrival. You could tell they were a bit short staffed and unprepared for a rush like this because there were folks who were not being served right away if you sat outside, and were leaving. We spoke to the hostess who was very attentive, asked her some questions about service and stated they only had 4 servers. She sat us inside as soon as server was available. Servers were nice, but you can tell they had they had their work cut out for them. Even the manager was helping tables out. We ordered the calamari which was good, however there wasn’t very much squid and there were more crumbs. We mentioned it to the manager and she was kind enough to take it off our bill. I ordered the brio Carbonara which was absolutely incredible (see picture). Overall, I was very impressed, and pleased with the service and how attentive the staff and management were to their customers. As a former server myself, I can empathize with difficult situations like this where it’s understaffed, and overwhelming pressure of some folks.

My mother and father whom is handicapped and is in a wheelchair arrived to this location. They had been coming to Florida yearly for decades but have not been able to come due to an illness which now makes him need to be in a wheelchair. This was their return trip to what should have been a great vacation and a wonderful stop on our trip. There were multiple problems that occurred. When they arrived to the restaurant there was a general manager escorting a few individuals out of the door and he had plastic gloves on. As they were approaching the door to come in he slammed the door in our face while calling for his assistant manager to handle another set of customers. My mother called through the door expressing “hey that’s real nice of you” and upon hearing this the manager apologized and opened the door for them. They were sat at a table. They sat there for almost 35 min before our order was taken and we had to wait almost 1.5 more hours before their food was served. They observed EVERY other able bodied individual in the restaurant served before us. They asked for oil for the bread and lemon for the water which never arrived. They were so disgusted with the way they were treated that we paid the bill and attempted to leave. On their way out the door there was another customer whom was talking to the assistant manager about an issue and they expressed how poorly they were treated. They were ignored by the assistant manager who didn’t even acknowledge that someone was speaking to her. No one in our family will be coming back to this location

I ordered my parents what I thought would be a nice Christmas meal with me living far away. The high star rating and price made me think it was a perfect place! Little did I know when I ordered at 5:30 PM it would show up nearly at 8:30. I called at 8:00 to ask the restaurant what was going on and my door dash driver greeted me on the phone because no one else was picking it up! My parents got their meal and this is what a $60.00 steak looked like after a 3 hour wait from the restaurant. They should have canceled the order if they couldn’t keep up with demand and the meal itself looks like a microwavable meal but maybe it’s misleading….you can look for yourself and decide. Can someone answer where are the mashed potatoes and asparagus?! The lamb meal (same price) looked good just so all know I’m not typically a complainer but spending that much money. I think it should have (at least the steak) looked more…presentable.
