Lauderdale a year ago on my way back from Israel, and now I always make it a point to eat at PV every time I am traveling out of Florida. I always buy breakfast or other foods to take with me from PV before catching my flight or ride. Their staff are always friendly, and this particular location was so nice to visit as I was in the midst of traveling and just wanted a respite in between carrying all my luggage. The vibes are great as they deliberately want to promote the best ingredients for the healthiest foods, in the best setting. The atmosphere is appreciated when you are already frazzled from catching flights/taxis and trying to get settled. I never get disappointed eating their avocado salmon bowl! I also appreciate that they are very transparent and detailed about the nutritional content of their food. I don't remember his name, but a Hispanic gentleman behind the counter at this location was especially friendly and helpful when I came in and wanted a large order of sit-down and to-go items. He was working the late shift, and even though he started closing up shop, he made a point to remind everyone not to feel rushed to leave. My two complaints are that even when mostly empty, the decor felt a little cramped at this location compared to the one in Dania Pointe. Perhaps it was because I had all my luggage with me, but then I wondered if it gets crowded and cramped with many people bringing in their laptops to eat and work here during the day, too. Just a minor observation. Also, I have to hand it to certain Jewish foods being better IN Israel. The rugelach in the Holy Land is SO much fluffier and softer! But I'd still settle for viennoiserie from here, though 😉 🫶🏻.
