  I don't often write reviews after going out to dinner, but Uchiko definitely deserves one! Wife and I had an excellent dinner here...our favorite during a trip to South Beach. Well worth a walk or Uber west of the strip to check out. Amazing service and very friendly chefs at the sushi counter helping guide our way through the menu. Food was absolutely delicious. Cocktails also delicious. Just an all around great time.

  Nice place! Definitely a good overall vibe and atmosphere, staff and service. Pretty strong overall sushi list. If you put in a large a la carte order at the sushi bar, you'll get several "flights" of a few pieces at a time. Nicely prepared nigiri; very flavorful, with just the right proportions and garnish, adding a complementary flavor without being overpowering. Short rib is a bit non-traditional but really good. Also worth noting, some really good edamame - bit of a unique twist of flavor I haven't had before. Overall worth a shout! I don't think you'll be disappointed.

  Flawless and phenomenal. Highlights were the Madai crudo, chef choice nigiri - even the rice was unctuous and the fish was highest quality perfection- Denver steak- and best dessert I’ve ever had - smores, which was some type of chocolate roll with ganache inside and light and slightly crisp marshmallow cream topping - this was ridiculously good. Service was outstanding. - you can tell that Chef Joe and his team strive for perfection and aim to deliver next level flavor with knowledge and execution. Service staff is absolutely on point as well. I wish I could eat here every day! Chef even let us sample the wagyu which should absolutely be part of your meal here!

  The restaurant itself is really good, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everything ran smoothly. But what truly made my experience unforgettable was Maria. She is, without a doubt, the best server I’ve ever had. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with the warmest smile and such genuine energy that instantly made us feel comfortable and cared for. Maria’s attention to detail was incredible, she never missed a thing. Our drinks are always full, our food came out perfectly timed, and she checked in just the right amount, never too much or too little. On top of that, she gave amazing recommendations that turned out to be spot-on. You can tell she really loves what she does because it shows in every interaction, she treats guests like friends, not just customers. It’s rare to come across someone who makes dining out feel so personal and special. Maria did exactly that and more. She’s kind, professional, and just radiates positivity. The restaurant is already great, but Maria truly makes it exceptional. I’ll definitely be back, not just for the food, but because of her outstanding service! My family and I absolutely ADORE Maria!!!!

  I’ve been to this restaurant several times, and it never disappoints. The happy hour is fantastic, and since I own a med spa just around the corner, it’s often my go-to spot after work. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The lighting is dim, the bar and layout make you want to stay for hours, and the overall vibe is just perfect. The food is incredible! Every dish tastes so fresh. From the sushi to the sashimi and nigiri, everything is top quality. The flavors, presentation, and consistency are exceptional. The service is equally impressive. Alex has been my server multiple times, and he’s amazing. From the moment you sit down to the moment you leave, he makes sure you’re taken care of. Always attentive, making sure the table is clean, keeping track of what dishes you’ve had, suggesting the next ones to try, and even recommending the perfect drinks to pair with your meal. All in all, it’s always an incredible dining experience that I look forward to every single time.
