An absolutely unforgettable experience at Nobu Miami! Sitting at the sushi bar truly made the night special — all of the sushi chefs and cooks were incredibly skilled, attentive, and engaging, which added so much to the overall atmosphere. A special shoutout to our server Miguel, who was amazing, kind, and made sure everything flowed perfectly from start to finish. The level of service across the entire staff, including the food runners, was top-tier and made the experience feel seamless and elevated. The ambiance was incredible — such a vibrant and lively atmosphere. It can get a bit noisy at times, but that’s expected with any busy restaurant, and it honestly added to the energy of the experience. Everything ran so smoothly and efficiently. The food was truly the cherry on top. From iconic Nobu staples to standout dishes like the Salmon New Style and ceviche cut roll, everything was beautifully executed and full of flavor. Baby corn with choclo and the spicy cucumber salad were incredible additions, and the salmon nashi was just as impressive. The Wagyu dumplings were also a must-try — rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The Wagyu hot stone was not only delicious but also a stunning presentation, enhanced by the attentive food runner staff. And to end the night — the Baked Alaska dessert was the perfect finale. From the ambiance to the service to the unforgettable dishes, this was a 10/10 experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an elevated sushi bar experience. S/O to Chef Toshi-San for the amazing experience as well !!

Over rated. Food was good, however, it was not worth the price. Service was not good. I can count on one hand the number of times that the server came by during our two hour dinner. Drinks were left empty more often than not. One margarita took 45 minutes. My water glass was left empty for the last hour. It is a tourist trap…

Our stay at Nobu Hotel Miami Beach was unfortunately extremely frustrating from the start. We experienced a delayed check-in, and when we finally got to the room the crib we had requested was not there. We called the front desk and were told it was “on its way,” but it didn’t arrive for over an hour while our child — who wasn’t feeling well — desperately needed to nap. Had we been given honest timing, we could have planned accordingly, but the lack of transparency made an already stressful situation worse. Communication throughout the stay was consistently inconsistent. We sent out our child’s sleep sack for cleaning after being told it would be returned around 2 PM, only to later be told by another staff member that it wouldn’t be back until 7 PM. Again, completely different information depending on who you spoke with. To make matters worse, one of the managers we spoke with was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of trying to find a solution, he dismissed our concerns and even attempted to tell me that I had been given the wrong information — essentially gaslighting the situation rather than helping resolve it. The one bright spot of the entire stay was Salvador. He was incredibly kind, solution-oriented, and genuinely cared about improving our experience. He helped turn the remainder of our trip around, and honestly if it weren’t for him we likely would have checked out early. Nobu is supposed to represent a high level of hospitality, but based on our experience there are clear gaps in communication, service, and management professionalism. Salvador is a shining example of what the hotel should strive to be — and staff like him deserve recognition and leadership roles. Unfortunately, after this stay, we left disappointed. I’ve since spoken with several friends who have had similar experiences, which suggests these issues may be more systemic than isolated. Nobu Miami Beach — do better.

Klare Empfehlung

While Nobu is often synonymous with refined Japanese elegance and a specific "Nobu-style" hospitality, my recent experience at the Miami Beach location fell significantly short of those expectations. Instead of the sophisticated sanctuary one expects, the evening was defined by a surprising lack of finesse. Atmosphere & Ambiance The most jarring element was the noise level. Rather than a curated dining environment, the atmosphere felt more akin to a loud sports club. The excessive volume made conversation difficult and completely stripped the space of the "Zen" aesthetic typically associated with the brand. It was far from the polished, upscale vibe required for a premium dining experience. Service & Hospitality The service lacked the "Omotenashi" (wholehearted hospitality) that defines the Nobu culture globally. Rough Execution: The service felt rushed and unrefined, lacking the grace one expects at this price point. Lack of Detail: There was a noticeable absence of attention to the smaller details that usually elevate a meal here. Cultural Disconnect: The staff seemed disconnected from the brand’s heritage, leading to an experience that felt transactional rather than welcoming. Final Verdict For a brand built on meticulous standards and a distinct cultural identity, this visit was a great disappointment. If you are looking for the signature Nobu elegance and attentive service, you may find the current environment at the Miami Beach outpost too chaotic and unpolished to justify the visit.
