  There’s no host stand and a counter with numbers sitting there to bring to your table. After waiting in a long line, when I finally am able to place my order the woman said if it’s here to sit down. I asked why no one directed that when entering the restaurant; and she said she doesn’t know. Very disorganized. Second time this happened. Last time I sat at a table the server didn’t come up to me for over 20 minutes, so I ended up having to order at the counter anyway.

  A few days ago I went to eat here and the food didn’t even look appealing. What really ruined the experience was seeing how poorly the staff is treated. I politely asked a girl for napkins and she was very kind, but another woman came out yelling at her and treating her badly in front of customers. I asked for her name and it was ALEXANDRA. If she’s a manager, that behavior is unacceptable. Terrible leadership and zero respect for employees. I won’t be coming back.

  We had a lovely experience at Maman Harbor in Miami Beach. Our server, Vanessa, was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the start. We ordered our usual favorites, the Papas breakfast bowl, a cafecito, and the Martha Stewart cake, and everything was delicious, just as expected. The atmosphere is charming and perfect for a relaxed coffee break or a casual bite. Great service, great vibes, and consistently good food. We’ll definitely be back!

  I simply came to pick up my "too good to go" order. Which right off the bat is a great thing Maman takes part of. I was greeted by Vanessa who helped me with enthusiasm. Everything on display was neat and visible. She was sweet, smiley and subtle, which is nice to encounter towards the end of the day. I left with a delicious bag of sweets and a pep in my step. I think I've painted the picture well enough, go to Maman in south beach.

  I frequently visit Maman in Sunset Harbor/Miami Beach (usually every other Saturday). I love the food and the ambiance, but the service is terrible half the time. They allow you to sit at a table and order but on multiple occasions I have sat down for 5+ minutes without one person coming by to greet me, serve me water, take my order, etc. (even with 5+ servers walking around and only 2 other patrons in the store). Multiple employees walk by my table but are too busy talking with each other to even make eye contact with me. So instead I have to go up to the register and order my food, which is physically no problem except when the person at the registers asks if I’m staying for in store service and then says I can take a seat in order to order… I tried that!! But once again, employees are too busy walking around aimlessly or talking to each other. Love this place, but really, the servers need to be better trained to be attentive to their patrons. Currently here now and the female manager on duty has been texting and taking phone calls on her personal phone the whole 20 mins I’ve been here. Last time I was here I was served quickly (at my table luckily) but took 10 mins to even wave down someone with a tablet in order to pay. Great food and ambiance, but service needs serious improvement (don’t come here if you’re in a rush).
