We were looking for a place to eat and discovered a different kind of place to eat, a restaurant designed as a construction zone. The service was excellent and the food delicious. Compared to other places we have eaten in the area, were quite reasonable, especially since the portions were generous. I would recommend you give it a try. It is not far from the Holiday Inn Resort at Orange Lake. It is located in rhe shopping center that has the Target Store.

This is a great place to eat especially if you have kids. Both times we’ve need there, it’s quiet and not hectic. We’ve gone there after leaving a Disney park and it’s perfect for my daughter to eat while relaxed and watching cartoons on one of the TVs. The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff is beyond nice.
This will be a place we eat going forward whenever we come up to go to Disney. It’s a creative business and the best part it’s not a chain.

We live about an hour and a half from Orlando and where in the area and looked up family friendly spots. Our 2 kids are not that adventurous culinarily speaking. That ruled out so many of my top choices but when they both saw a review and pictures for the construction zone both my daughters said YES!! That hardly ever happens so we knew right then that we would be eating lunch there. Overall a great spot that I highly recommend for those visiting the area and want to try something different. Food was just as expected. We would definitely return, especially with out of town family with kids.

We had a wonderful time unti…
We Decided after running some errands we would get dinner with the kids since we hardly take them out. Everything was fine till my son had LONG hair in his Mac n cheese. He just stopped eating and we were too embarrassed to say anything…
Then I decided I wanted to cross my legs and cut my knee on some metal under the table. My 9 year old did the same…
We were sitting at the truck bed table.
Again I’m like I’ll brush it off but I wanted to say something so another person doesn’t scrap or cut themselves but held it together through the meal.
We finished up and I take two of my kids to wash up before leaving and I heard my baby crying all the way in the bathroom who was with my husband. He lost his footing on the bench slid and cut his side on the table.
In all honesty I don’t understand why they are not smoothed out, rounded corners and edges like most restaurant tables..
He is 20 months and got a deep cut from a table. I decided to just leave a review at this point so others can be aware PLEASE BE CAREFUL AT THE TRUCK TABLE!! I just don’t want another little one or even adult getting hurt at this table.
After three injuries and a hair we check our receipt and saw a mandatory large party tax on the bottom in small print. They didn’t disclose it or ever mention hey we did add this at the bottom..
it was my husband and 4 kids. I feel like a party of 6 shouldn’t be considered large more like 8-10 is large but Its not my business. We had to adjust our tip, after being hurt and my son’s food not being good.
Our server was good and still deserved a good tip by all means she was tipped still!
Attached is a photo of my babies side the next morning.

What a cute themed restaurant! The prices were reasonable for a themed restaurant. I had the double bacon burger and my little one got mac n cheese. While both were good the mac n cheese wasn't very creamy. We just prefer it a bit different. Other than that service was good. The kids meal included a side, drink, and icecream for $10 which in florida is a good deal. We went at Christmas time and they had a cute station where kids could write letters to santa. We will definitely come again!
