- MPMagui PereiraSep 18, 20251.0Just visited McDonald's on 330 W 29 St. May I begin with the tall Spanish dark-skinned manager whose attitude needs adjustment. We don't speak Spanish, and even though we live in Hialeah, it doesn’t necessarily mean we speak Spanish. His lack of professionalism as a manager, poor customer service, lack of education, and lack of friendliness leave a lot to be desired. Then there was a drive-thru, Spanish-speaking ONLY person—obnoxious, loud, and rude—who, from the first words when arriving at the drive-thru, wanted us to place our order in Spanish, refusing to speak or at least attempt to speak any English as if she's in her country. When she realized we spoke no Spanish and obviously she couldn't communicate, since she spoke no English, the unhappy manager took over. You could pick up on his frustration and unwillingness to be there working as he took our order. Looking at the pictures attached, the fries must have been sitting there for a while—over-fried, dry, hard, stale fries—and the ranch snack wrap… the ranch and the appeal, this is what our food looked like. We ended up going to Wendy's where the customer service and fresh food were worth the drive and price. If we could say this was a first, it would be okay. However, this McDonald's lacks customer service, education, professionalism, friendliness, and employees who can speak English AND follow directions on what exactly customers are buying. Improvement is desperately needed at this location.
