I’ve been here many times and I feel like I left so disappointed today. We are always drawn here because of the playground for my children. I’ll give you a few points that pushes me to leave a 2 star review, 1 is for the impossible places, you’re a step up from that.
1) On their menu, it shows the ‘Happy Hour’ for 4-6pm. No where ON the menu does it say their restrictions that they have which is you have to eat outside or at the bar. So that was my first frustration. We normally eat outside so it’s never a question, but with the cold temps we sat inside which is how we learned of this.
2. Our server seemed VERY displeased to be there. People have off nights, so I didn’t put much weight into it, but amongst my other points, it’s worth mentioning.
3. I ordered a $19 salad, the Parmesan Crusted Chicken Salad. It tasted good but it was lacking for the price. The Parmesan Chicken was the best part…the worst (which I’m frustrated I didn’t take a picture), was the fact that it sat upon simple lettuce. There was NOTHING special, you’d think for the high price you’d get mixed greens or something more than that. It was a very off presentation for the establishment and price. Ontop, my meal came last, maybe 3-4 minutes later because my ‘chicken was taking long’, against burgers and flatbreads at the table. Seemed odd, but I thankfully had soup, so I wasn’t in a position to be upset that my table was waiting for me to get my plate.
4. Upon glancing over my $100 bill for my family of 4, there was a 3% service charge on the bill. Not a credit card charge, but when asked “it’s to help with the increasing costs so it doesn’t get put on the price of the menu”…excuse me what? So what you’re saying, you want to charge higher, but instead of being upfront about your prices, you slap a surcharge on at the end and say ‘surprise’. This is extremely off putting and was the straw that broke the camels back and the final reason I decided to leave this review.
In the end, we will not be back. The atmosphere and proximity to a playground doesn’t outweigh the high prices for TGI Friday foods.
Best of luck and I hope my points help bring change to your restaurant.

We walked in the door around 1:30 pm on a Tuesday afternoon. We stood at the hostess stand and looked around. The place was large with hardly anyone in there. There was probably close to 200 open seats. A server/bar tender came by with a tray of drinks and told us there was a 30 minute wait. ??? The place was almost completely empty. We left. Why don't they just close the restaurant down if they can't staff it. What a joke!

A group of us went to Burntwood Tavern on a Saturday evening and it was very nice. The atmosphere was calm and quiet, so we could hear each other talking. The food was great, cooked and seasoned to perfection. Our waitress was just awesome. She knew when to check in, made sure everyone has questions answered, and was the perfect amount of conversational. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for group gatherings or a quiet evening with someone special.

Just had lunch here with my family of six. Walked in at noon on a Sunday, place was almost empty, handful of tables seated, about 50 empty, nobody waiting. Floor was ridiculously slippery, you could take a few steps and slide with both feet for a good yard. Not one spot, whole floor. Hostess said our large party would need to wait about 10 minutes to find a table, would I like to give her my cell #, wife and I just laughed, hostess had this blank stare, don’t think she even realized how silly it seemed. Server got my drink wrong, and put a naked straw into it right it front of me with her bare fingers where my mouth goes, might as well have fish-hooked me. She carried the food out balancing plates against her body and food was touching the chest of her shirt. Food itself was mediocre. No lunch available until after 2, only brunch at noon. Honestly pretty poor overall.
