  My husband and I came here this past Tuesday and we had the best experience!! The food was mouth watering delicious! I got the sea bass and it was to die for, my husband got the twin lobster tails and he couldn’t stop raving! We just sat at the bar so we were served by one of the bartenders, Alia, and she made our experience even that much better! She knew a ton about the menu, had great recommendations, and helped us find fun tasty drinks to have! She also had some awesome recommendations on what to do while we’re here🤗 Definitely coming back and would love to see Alia again, she was so fun!

  I really wanted to enjoy my experience at Ocean Prime for my wife’s birthday but the timing and inconsistency completely ruined the night. I had a 7:45pm reservation and didn’t get seated until 8:23pm. Almost a full 40 minutes late. That alone was frustrating. Our waiter Michael was excellent. Extremely attentive and friendly so none of this is on him. I ordered the ribeye steak medium well with the jalapeño au gratin and the meal took so long to arrive that it literally lasted over half of the Cowboys football game. We were waiting so long we nearly walked out. When it finally came, my ribeye and sides were great. My wife ordered the lobster mac & cheese and it came out really dry and honestly not good at all. For a restaurant with this reputation and price point, that shouldn’t happen. Overall, besides the long wait and the bad lobster mac, the food we did enjoy was phenomenal but the reservation delay, the excessive wait time and the inconsistency made this a disappointing experience. For sure not coming back.

  I recently dined at Ocean Prime and, unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. Our server not only upcharged us on nearly everything, whether we requested it or not, but also provided lackluster service throughout the meal. To make matters worse, he didn’t come back to take any additional drink orders until the food was almost gone, leaving us sipping on water while waiting. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any more frustrating, he went ahead and added a 3% charge to the credit card terminal before handing it to me, on top of an already- included 20% Overall, the combination of mediocre service, unexpected charges, and a lack of attention made this visit extremely disappointing. I hope they can improve because, as of now, I can’t recommend dining here.

  My friend and I had dinner at Oceans Prime several weeks ago, and although the food was excellent and the ambience was beautiful, the service we received from our waiter, Michael, was the worst we have experienced in recent memory. He was incredibly rude, dismissive, and made us feel like an inconvenience from the moment we sat down. It completely overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable evening. At the end of the meal, we spoke with the maître d’, Marc G., who was very apologetic. He offered to have us back and took my number, assuring me he would follow up. He eventually texted several days later. Given how awful the service was, we asked if a complimentary dinner would be offered to make things right. Marc said he needed to speak with his manager, and the “offer” he returned with was so minimal and disproportionate to our experience that it honestly felt insulting. After what we went through, we have absolutely no desire to return. Oceans Prime may have great food, but no meal is worth being treated the way we were. If you choose to dine here, avoid Michael at all costs—his attitude and behavior were shockingly unprofessional.

  Fantastic dinner experience bookended by a very rough greeting and goodbye. We did not receive any kind of greeting from the hostess; she was too busy feuding with another staff member in front of us to say hello. Eventually a runner came out and took us back. Once seated, the setting is very special and we breathed a sigh of contentment. Sitting outside in the perfect 70° temperature with a view of the yachts couldn’t be better. Our server and all the runners were very friendly and professional. The food, wine, and cocktails were impeccable and we quickly forgot about the awkward start to the night. However, our server ruined it in how he saw us off at the end of the night. We shouted goodbye/thank you across the dining room (as we did think his service was excellent) and he simply looked daggers at us and scoffed. Really don’t understand why he soured on us or why he thought this was appropriate. To be fair we were lingering a bit as we finished the bottle of wine, but we were a high revenue table (stone crabs, bottle of wine, etc), tipped well, and were never told the restaurant had closed. such a shame to be seen out like this after a great night. Unfortunately I would hesitate to go back
