My boyfriend and I live in the upstairs apartments and have been on a spree of trying all the restaurants below. I work in corporate now, though prior I was a waitress for 7 years so this was appalling. Last night we walked in at 11:25pm hungry and wanting to put in a to go order. I was in sweats and so was he. I’ve never been greeted with such nastiness. When I walked in the black lady’s eyes almost came out of her head. She gave me a gesture as to motion “what do you want”. I’m not sure if she was doing sign language or an attitude dance. I nicely asked “can I put in a to go order”. With one hand on her hip and eyes wide like an owl, she cocked her head to the side and yammered “DEPENDS ON WHAT YA WANT” and then sighed and continued to look us up and down (hand still on her hip). We ended up leaving out of fear of having our food spit in. Go to taco love. The service is friendly and the food is phenomenal no matter the hour.
