  We stopped by Fish Grill in FLL and the place was packed, with a line outside — always a good sign. The vibe is adult, relaxed, and very local. We skipped the wait and sat at the bar, where Bill — born and raised in Fort Lauderdale — took great care of us. One thing that stood out right away: the staff knows many customers by name, which gives the place a cozy, familiar feel. Even as first-timers, both the team and the regulars made us feel at home instantly. The food was fresh and delicious. We ordered clams, oysters, and what turned out to be the best crab cake I’ve ever had. They also have parking in the back, which is a nice bonus. Definitely worth a visit.

  All my life living here and my family and I JUST tried The Fish Grill for the first time after being tired of all the mediocre, overpriced restaurants in the area. The Fish Grill honestly exceeded all expectations. The hostess wasn't immediately attentive to seat us but it added to the no frills, hometown feel of the place and was refreshing in a way lol. our server made sure to ask if it was our first time dining so he could go over the menu or answer any questions, we got the scallop entree, salmon entree and cheeseburger...EVERYTHING and when i say everything! was cooked to perfection. best burger i've had in a long while especially in this area. seafood was buttery and melt in mouth level. we got the oysters rockefeller which were also delicious. the desserts were okay, i'd recommend the bread pudding if anything. but overall, fantastic food, fantastic service, wait staff was attentive and friendly and greatly enjoyed our night and meal there

  Service was great despite how many tables were full, food was even better. Great fried shrimp and fish & chips. Came out so hot that we had to let things cool down... which is unheard of nowadays. 100% worth a stop if you want good seafood.

  My son and I stopped here on the last day of our vacation for some seafood. I wish we would have chose something different and maybe on the water. The service was absolutely terrible. We waited about 5 minutes to be sat. Ok no big deal. When we were sat we waited another 10 minutes to place drink orders. Mind you this place wasn’t busy at all. There were people at the bar and 4 other tables in the seating area. I think there were two serves that were running around like it was their first day. We got our food after about a half hour. My son got mozzarella sticks which were huge and great. I got the Mahi sandwich which was a small fillet on a bun and a tiny side of Mac salad. I wish I would have taken a picture. There was more bun than fish which was super disappointing. I asked the woman who brought out our food (not our waiter which we only seen once to take our order by the way) if they had any sort of sauce to go with the fish. Apparently I was taking too long to figure out what sauce I wanted cuz she like threw up her hands and rolled her eyes at me. Then the slim shady wannabe waiter that we had literally only came over to give us our food and our bill. Didn’t see him at all during the meal aside from when he was cashing out the people sitting next to us and was mean mugging them. Overall I would highly recommend going elsewhere if you’re in the area.
