The food was, without exception, outstanding. (Had the weather been better we would have eaten on the very attractive patio.) Happy Hour (4-6) alone had some great and innovative choices (including an outstanding corvina ceviche). I can only conclude that the relatively few people eating there is due to the fact that it is not well-known. Well, it should be a LOT better known! Try it! You'll love it!

Took a trip through DC just for the chance at getting fire roasted chestnuts (a rarity here in the states). Even though it wasn’t a night they typically have them, they still roasted it up just for me— and then gifted them to me free of charge for the wait. They had no idea I even came in from several states away just for Chestnuts. That speaks volumes to the care they have given to their customers. Come visit Dovetail, and you will not be disappointed! 10 out of 10!!!
