  Food was pretty underwhelming and mediocre, I really don't understand how they are rated so high. Very slow and not attentive service, but they did include 20 percent service charge on a check. Napoleon was half frozen and not really good.

  This place is excellent. Food is always fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. This is my favorite Ethiopian restaurant in DC. A gem for the neighborhood and the city.

  There are lots of Ethiopian options in DC (and we’ve tried more than a few), but this one is EXCEPTIONAL. We ordered the Deluxe vegan platter and every dish was fresh and ridiculously flavorful. We also got the #3 meat special and it was so juicy, tender, and delicious we had to order a second one. Save this one in your favorites. 🤤
