We are traveling in Washington, D.C., and this is already our second time coming here for breakfast — and that alone says a lot. The food is delicious, beautifully prepared, and everything feels very thoughtful and high quality. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting, with lovely tableware and a very clean, well-kept space. I especially want to mention David, who truly made our visits memorable. Yesterday the café was very busy and there were no available tables, but David immediately stepped in, kindly organized seating for us, brought tables together, and made everything feel easy and welcoming. Today, it was busy again, and once more he noticed us right away and helped us feel comfortable without any stress. He is incredibly friendly, attentive, proactive, and genuinely caring — the kind of person who makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. Because of the food, the atmosphere, and especially the wonderful service, we were happy to come back — and we would gladly return again. Such a lovely place with lovely people. Highly recommend!

- YYYamibearDec 29, 20253.0I really wanted to love this Maman, but the food quality didn’t match the prices and left us very disappointed ☹️ The Everything Croissant Sandwich was a disaster; it was completely stale and definitely not worth $20. Similarly, the Double Chocolate Croissant Cube looks splendid, but the pastry was dry and stale with a “chocolate” cream filling that was very mid. I highly doubt there was actual chocolate in it -let alone double. To include the word croissant for naming this pastry would probably be illegal in France. The only highlight was the creme brulee Sugar Bun (collab with Martha Stewart). It actually delivered with a nice flaky, crispy exterior and a delicious lemon pastry cream. Unless you’re specifically getting the Martha specials, it’s hard to justify the cost when the freshness is this hit or miss. Great aesthetics though! The coffee drinks and staff were wonderful.
