The coffee and espresso beverages are delicious. The food is extremely overpriced and not worth it. Yes they have a big menu but I paid $9 for 3 little potato pancakes and they charge $1 extra for a teeny tiny side of applesauce. Applesauce or sour cream should just come with potato pancakes.

Delicious coffee drinks in a warm and welcoming locale! We are partial to the outdoor seating in the summer, but the cozy winter decorations are also great in the winter. A perfect place to meet with friends.

Man, I really want to like this place because working in the area there are very few spots to choose from that are good and reasonable.
The atmosphere is great. The service is fine, but the food is just ok. Time and time again I try other items on the menu only to be disappointed. Get a pizza, probably the best thing they serve.

We went to the Plainville site for the first time today. My sister and I were with my 100 year old father who used a walker. The hostess asked if we wanted lunch (yes) and to sit anywhere. The tables we saw required us to go down 3 steps. After using the lengthy handicap ramp, my dad almost fell down the steps. We were then informed that we had to move to the tavern section of the building in order to get lunch. That meant going back up the steps. Lunch could not be served in the coffee house. (which was easily accessible to servers) for unclear reasons. The server was friendly and attentive. The food (grain bowls and truffle french fries) was mediocre. The coffee was good.
I did speak to the manager about the lack of assistance from the hostess given my dad’s needs. I am unsure how seriously he took our complaints, but he was pleasant. The other patrons were kind and more cognizant than the staff.
