The vegan food here is the best in all of Connecticut, at least! The texture & flavor of the spring chicken & ribs (both vegan) were seriously incredible. The ribs were charred. The chicken was tender. If I lived close, I’d eat here way too much. Thank you!

The food was slightly delayed so the chef came out and gave us a free sample of a cocktail (which was amazing), we chatted for a bit and he was very friendly. Both my girlfriend and I got the oxtail, and the jerk Mac and cheese balls. The food was so good, we ate until we were uncomfortably full. My only complaints are the location and interior. It’s located in the marina, which is basically down a little alleyway behind some businesses and apartment buildings. It’s a narrow drive and there’s little to no parking down there. Also because the restaurant is located in the marina it’s got that sort of old dilapidated marina feel to it, the interior and furnishings could definitely use a make over. The chairs looked uncomfortable and were made of plastic, there were bright lights and laminate floor tiles, it was more in line with cafeteria than romantic date night. However, don’t let this scare you away, the food is totally worth it and the chef will treat you right.
