  $20 for the chicken and waffles to look like this is crazy work! I was upset as this was my first time here. The traditional wings looked good which i was expecting but nope I got tenders that is not good looking.

  So, I've eaten at Jack's countless times. I never had a bad experience until yesterday. Although the food was good, the service was horrible. I was part of a group that gathered there yesterday, but this was not our first time. The waiter's, more than one, facial expression and body language was clear about how they felt about us. We were rushed and given receipts before asked. Since, I've served previous years, I understand that it's common to add gratuity to checks. Many of us were not together and some came later and sat at smaller seated tables, yet gratuity was added. One person commented how that was offensive to imply that they would not tip. Me, personally, I usually overtip, but I only paid what was added to the bill. My drink I ordered was completely made wrong and my server took no ownership for the mistake but did insist of having the bar remake it. I ordered 2 items from the menu and they were good. I stayed hours later waiting for 2 friends to show and we sat at table of 4. I decided to place another order, when I received it, it was placed in a To-Go bag. When I asked why, the server told me that I ordered it that way. Not only this, the women's bathroom was filthy. There was no soap in the dispensers, water all around the sink and tissues all over the floor. The bathroom door entrance was left ajar also, which was a bit uncomfortable, allowing guest and staff walking by to see inside. To top this off, the servers just left our tables as is. They no longer checked on us, refilled our waters, or even made sure we had cutlery and napkins. I had to walk to the bar to ask for this. Horrible experience.

  Don’t come here if you want to be scammed by the bartenders. Me and my friends participated in the bar crawl yesterday where we paid 40 dollars a ticket for this event where they advertised discounted drinks and no cover for participating bars(Jacks was one of them), there were two bartenders at around 12:30pm that day, my boyfriend asked for a beer that was on the menu listed at 5 dollars for happy hour from one of the bartenders, she charged him 10 dollars and then he asked her why it wasn’t 5 dollars and she said that it was 5 dollars for a bucket of Coronas, which made no sense and no where does it say anything about buckets on the menu. My bf ended up paying for it but we were reading the menu over again and i just wanted to make sure that this was true so i ended up asking the other bartender about the drink and she told me us the beer was 5 dollars for happy hour and we told her our situation and she gave us another beer to make up for it, which we appreciate extremely and tipped her for! But then me and friends come back after a few moments to get another drink. My friend got the attention of the bartender that helped us, she told him one moment so we waited almost 10 minutes to get a drink(mind u there were only like 10-12 ppl there so it wasn’t busy) and both of them completely ignored us they kept helping other ppl, some ppl I saw walk up to the bar after us. So we ended up leaving and going to a different bar.. also we were not drunk we were sober at this point.

  We celebrated our twin daughters 19th birthday at Jacks the other night and we couldn’t have been a better waiter! Extremely impressed by the level of service on a Tuesday night. Food was good as usual, they even made dishes that weren’t on the menu. Thank you for making everyone feel special! Looking forward to visiting again.
