  The bartenders here are unwelcoming and were being jerks upon walking into the establishment. They were acting like they couldn’t serve drinks at the bar because they seen we knew a party of people and assumed we were with them. This my first and last time at this establishment the bartender need to learn how to interact with people instead off acting like they forgot their magic butt plugs at home

  I had high hope for this place. Food was okay but the atmosphere was just pure chaos. At first, music was soft and place felt nice and cozy but later on, they turn the volume up, I couldn't even hear my partner across the table, it was hard to keep a conversation. I looked at the table next to us and they were having the same issue. I wouldn't mind the loud music at a club, but music was not adequate for the place. Had to rush finishing our meals and walk out of the place before going deaf. Bathrooms are just gross. On the men's restrooms, the stall's door wasn't even working properly, I was doing my business and someone opened the door on me because of the unexistent doornob. I also watched one of the waiter walking out directly from the stall without washing his hands, just gross.

  Went here for a holiday party. Even though the food was buffet style, it was incredible.

  First time in New Haven, visiting family in the local hospital, seen steak house and we immediately said YES! We ate at the bar, was greeted by Laura and let me tell you service was amazing! Coming from 15 years of the restaurant/hospitality industry I appreciate everything about Laura and her work. Ordered lobster tostone, lamb lollipops , bread ( was so good) and a Tomahawk steak, we ordered it medium but it came out medium well, it was so well seasoned that I decided to not complain. Twice baked potatoes came out hot and amazing , and Brussels sprouts was so crispy! Food was a amazing and I would definitely come back to see Laura and enjoy another steak, with the correct temp lol! As far as atmosphere it’s comfortable and upscale however something go against it, the bar had visual syrups for their drinks , the environment and quality of food would call for some organic purées not syrups, and the ladies room was a mess, door held open by the trash , toilet paper on the floor , hair in the sink , broken stall doors. I expected a better considering however I would come back just to enjoy Laura’s company and some good food!!
