    I have shopped here for years. There are so few cashiers. They want to make more profits by having people scan their groceries. I’ve been in line for almost 30 mins. Greedy corporation.

    Absolutely horrible, the store it self is nice and clean but the person behind the counter at the sea food department should not bee allowed to handle customers. I called ahead to see if they had any lobster available. 10 min later I was at the store. They had about 10 or so. I prefer female lobster. The guy did not know the difference but I do. I told him that I would show him. He replied that he had no time for that. That he had other stuff to do with an attitude. What else can he do if is not helping customers, you figured at 15.99 per pound 3 lobster is about $80 plus what ever else i was getting I told him to keep his lobsters that I rather spend my hard earned money were is welcomed. I also told him that if that was his department perhaps he should educate him self on what he is selling. Another employee passing by witnesses the incident and tried to make things better, he even got me the store manager whom looked like he was quit him self. He could care less about the incident and I bet that not even a conversation will.take place with the employee. I wish I would have gotten the name of the nice employee to give him credit for great customer care. He should be the manager. I will drive pass this location and drive to Big Y or somewhere else.

    I want to give a huge shout-out to Ms. Audra, a cashier at the Hamden Stop & Shop, for giving me one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. I had just come in after a long workout, feeling a little down and drained, but the moment I got to her register, everything changed. She greeted me with a bright smile, was incredibly courteous, and even shared a few lighthearted jokes with me. It may sound small, but in a time when so many people are stressed and rushing, that genuine kindness and positive energy turned my entire day around. Stop & Shop has a true gem in Ms. Audra. She represents what great customer service should be: professional, kind, and uplifting. In today’s world, a little warmth and humanity go a long way, and she delivers that effortlessly. I sincerely hope management recognizes her value—not only with praise, but with something tangible like a raise, a bonus, or formal recognition—because employees like her are the reason customers keep coming back. Thank you, Ms. Audra, for showing that a simple smile and kindness can make all the difference.
