A Birthday Dinner That Ended in Disappointment I felt genuinely disrespected by how this restaurant handled a simple issue after my birthday dinner and by what appears to be dishonesty about what happened. We celebrated my birthday here, and to be fair, the food was great. The service wasn’t perfect, but we chose not to focus on that since it was a special occasion. After leaving, we accidentally left three birthday balloons behind. I realized this very quickly and called the restaurant as soon as possible, asking them to please keep the balloons so my family could pick them up the next morning. They agreed. My family then made the effort to return the next day, only to be told that there was just one balloon, and that “only one had been left behind in the first place.” That is simply not true. This is not about the cost of balloons — it’s about honesty, accountability, and respect. Being told something that contradicts what actually happened, after we clearly communicated and made the effort to come back, was extremely disappointing and left me feeling dismissed as a customer. This experience overshadowed what should have been a happy birthday celebration, and I expected much better handling of such a straightforward situation.

The food was good, but a little pricey for what was received. Family of four spent $160 after tax, not including tip. This is with everyone ordering from the adult menu, drinking soft drinks, and no dessert. Our server was excellent though.

This is our first visit to Saltgrass steakhouse we were very excited. Tom, our waiter was very professional and accommodating. We asked a lot of questions so we could make informed decisions on our order. We did find out that they grill the fish and the steaks all on the same grill, which would be hard for cross contamination which we have fish allergies they also fry the fish in the same fryer as the vegetables so if you have a fish allergy, you should probably not order any of the fried foods. Got the center cut sirloin, blackened with a baked potato and a salad. Mine was absolutely delicious However, the person I was with has a severe fish allergy and had to have their steak pan fried unfortunately it did not have the same great flavor as I’m sure that the chefs are used to cooking everything the same way and not in a pan After having to send the steak back twice decided we would just keep it and try to come back another time, Brandon the manager was very accommodating and very kind and taking care of everything. We look forward to going back and having a much better eating experience, the restrooms were clean. The service was great. There’s a lot of challenges when you have allergies and they did their best to try to overcome. They have bread and butter while you wait. The bread was hot and fresh crispy on the outside soft in the inside they serve it with a honey butter. I prefer regular butter. They were very accommodating and brought us regular butter as well. Tom recommended the carrot cake and it did not disappoint. It was full of pecans instead of walnuts and the frosting was nice and fresh and not too sweet 10 out of 10 recommend checking out one of the desserts. The pricing is not bad and the portions were good. The food was fresh and hot except for the pan cooked steak.

We had the most AWFUL experience, customer service from bartender was horrible ( don't know the reason why ) waitress that delivered food from kitchen it was actually very good and polite .l ask for the most expensive steak they have on menu and NOT GOOD it all, quality of steak was very poor wich l though Saltgrass was way more popular and better quality than the regulars we know about, well wrong unless l was the only one that had a very bad one, Anyways my fiend didn't like the plate that he order either so l don't know about coming back to this place anymore. Rather to keep going to Longhorn steakhouse..!!

Feedback in short, we had to wait for 1 hr and 25 minutes at the table waiting for our food just to get very cold dishes, also not done as ordered, very disappointing experience especially for our kids, as adults we can manage the wait, the manager apologized he was respectful, but not coming back and definitely cannot recommending this place.
