  I was literally just here, and the white lady with the red and black floral shirt literally sat down 3 tables didnt ask if they had reservations. Then when it was our turn she came back asked if we had reservations said no, all of a sudden it was a 10minute wait mind you the restaurant was empty! I left Then called and ask if it was reservations only they lady said no then I asked if there was a 10 minute wait she said no. So why the white lady being racist to just us! And we usually go here once every week never had a problem til today! If your that racist to color maybe you shouldn't be a manager or hostess!

  My family and I came in for dinner last week, and we absolutely loved our server Evie! Even though we came in during a busy dinner rush, she was very friendly, super attentive, and did an amazing job with our table. The food was wonderful, and Evie gave great recommendations for drinks and meals. Overall, Evie made my family and I feel right at home and we will definitely be coming back soon!

  3 people behind the bar and one girl was doing 90% of the work. The drink-maker(?) acknowledged our presence when we first sat down and then never even looked at us again the whole time. The bar back/busser(?) also ignored our presence until it came time to close out our tab. And one of them spent all night flirting with the regular who had clearly been camped out there for hours, ordering nothing but wine and reeked of BO, booze, and cigarettes (real appetizing). As someone who comes from the service industry I’m very patient, especially on a busy Saturday night. But to sit there and watch 2 out of 3 employees make zero effort to help us is wildly unacceptable. Especially when they have time to fake giggle with the homeless guy between making drinks. Took forever for our super sweet bartender to get to us because of how busy she was, I feel bad because I was so put out by the time she could get to us I had a bit of an attitude. She deserves better help. Do better.

  We tried Saltgrass Steak House for the first time, and wow what an experience! At first, we were a little hesitant after reading a few mixed reviews and waiting about 45 minutes for our table. But once the food arrived, every bit of that wait was worth it. The ribeye steak was perfectly cooked tender, juicy, and full of flavor paired with a fully loaded baked potato that hit the spot. The chicken-fried steak was also incredible, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We started with the mozzarella sticks, and they were absolutely amazing perfectly golden, gooey, and full of flavor. The Brussels sprouts blew us away too; I’ve never even liked Brussels sprouts before, but these were on another level crispy, savory, and seriously addictive. And we have to give a special shoutout to our server, Evie she was absolutely amazing! Super friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely taken care of the entire time. We walked in with a little negative energy after reading some reviews, but we left impressed and satisfied. I don’t know what anyone bad-mouthing this place is talking about the food and service were both top-notch. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quality steakhouse with amazing food, great service, and good vibes. We’ll definitely be back!

  Overall experience: ok, but not great Hostess: Too quiet and forgot about us. They had to ask us our name after too long of a wait. Why are you not using a paging system? By the way there were 3 of them up there. Waiter: Very likeable and nearly perfect. The only mistake was the dressing. Food: Disappointing (again). The salad was a bowl of cheese and crotons. That is not what I call a salad. The sides were good, not great, good. The steaks were disappointing (again). The 1" porterhouse was less than 1/2" thick (again). There is no way its weight is what the menu said it was. We asked for rare to medium rare or Rare+. I said I don't want to ride it home. The steak was very blue. As for the 16oz prime rib...It was medium and very dry. I can easily cook a cheap $5.97/lb prime rib at home that is way better than this. I come to your restaurant to have quality steaks, neither got even close. The only reason we didn't complain at the restaurant is because we were already there for quite some time and we didn't want to wait another 15-20 minutes to recook the steaks. The Prime Rib was already a lost cause, ordering another was not going to be any better. The waiter kind of eluded to this fact. My family recently did a Rainforest café tour through Texas and everyone in our party was very pleased. We went to this Saltgrass and I hoped that it had improved given our recent experiences with the Rainforest café. Unfortunately that was not the case. I see no real reason to go back to this location. The Saltgrass steakhouses in Texas are pretty good, but this one misses the mark nearly across the board. Listen, if a steakhouse cant make a steak and a prime rib even serviceable, why would I go back to that steakhouse? There are a lot of choices and this just isn't it.
