At The Post, we brew delicious, award-winning beers and fry up the crispiest, juiciest hot chicken around. We serve it with our kitchen’s take on vegetarian and seafood dishes, fresh salads, farm fresh and innovative sides - classics remade for modern times and tastes. We make the traditional, uncommonly memorable
While many customers praised the fried chicken and sides, there were complaints about recent changes to popular dishes, particularly the chicken and waffles, which some found disappointing.
Service
Overall, service received high marks for being friendly and attentive, though some reviews noted inconsistencies and lapses in attention during busy times.
Pricing
Several customers felt that the prices were on the higher side for the portion sizes and quality, leading to mixed feelings about value for money.
Atmosphere
The restaurant has a casual and friendly vibe, but some patrons found it too loud for a comfortable dining experience.
Gluten-Free Options
The availability of gluten-free fried chicken was highly appreciated by customers with dietary restrictions, enhancing their dining experience.

You pulled your restaurant from DoorDash. I get it. They murder you on each and every order. Taking a 30% haircut on delivery, already the worst part of your income, sucks. Switching to in-house delivery is not amazing for your operating costs, but you get to keep 100% of the order. It now costs the customer $5 more to use your in-house delivery service instead of DoorDash. You're asking that customer to take a 15% haircut on a $20 order if they want delivery. If the customer walks away from the order then you keep 100% of 0. I think 70% of more than 0 is probably the better outcome, but I don't own a restaurant and I didn't even graduate high school.

Gluten free fried chicken is such a lifesaver. We usually get the tenders - not dry or chewy - delicious. We try to get enough to have leftovers the next day. And their ranch dressing is good on everything. Can I buy a jar?

Food was great! I had the buffalo wings with blue cheese, crispy wings and had some veggies on the side. My partner had the fried half chicken with the mash potatoes. The fried chicken really is great (coming from a southern woman) however I’d choose the right time to show up due to low seating availability.
Good selection of beers but I’d definitely incorporate something sweet in the menu as well. Overall the decor had a somewhat farm house theme but only by the bar.
Service was great, no complaints! Thank you!

Visited this spot for the first time recently and definitely want to go back to try more of meals they offer. I ordered the chicken and waffles and my partner order the half fried chicken with collected greens and biscuit. The fried chicken was deliciously crispy but so juicy on the inside. The collected greens were perfect and the biscuit crispy and soft. The waffles were the perfect balance of crispy and soft and the black pepper maple syrup paired beautifully with the chicken and waffles. They have a great playlist for music in the background and the beer selection is pretty solid. The staff were super friendly and quick to take care of us. The Post is a bit on the pricey side but I definitely recommend to check this place out as they have a variety of quality options for their signature fried chicken as well as other savory comfort meals to choose from.

Pretty disappointed after being cut off at The Post in Longmont tonight — 3 drinks over an hour and a half , not acting drunk, just enjoying a nice afternoon . Totally killed the atmosphere, especially for how pricey the place is. Definitely not the experience I expected and won’t be going back.
