    I went in to this store yesterday, I received a virtual gift card and tried to redeem it at the customer service station only to be met by the store manager named ken he was nothing but rude made me feel like I was I had stolen this virtual gift. However he proceeded to say that All safeways were not redeeming per an email. This ken made it very clear. I even asked to speak to another manager he said rudely that it would be a long wait. So I called a different safeway in denver and they will be helping me with redeeming this virtual gift card. And once I'm done using it i will never shop safeway again, in fact I have let many people know about my.rude experience at the mineral and broadway safeway. And how rude there manager named ken is. I give this safeway an f for poor customer service

    This safeway is so petty and unprofessional the person that shopped my order asked if I wanted a replacement I replied with yes anything will do because they did not have ny original item then they proceed to not get anything and tell me that the item is out of stock after I told them to just replace it with anything now yall anything I'm really disappointed mind you I live in breckenridge and my husband works in castle rock so I did a online order for pickup on his way home so he could pick up the order I hate shopping at stores in the city its like no one cares to do there job ......UPDATE TO ALL OF THIS WE WERE MISSING 11 ITEMS OUT OF 23 MY HUSBAND WENT INSIDE THAT NIGHT THEY TOLD HIM THAT HALF THE ORDER WAS MISSING TOLD US TO CALL IN THE MORNING SO WE DID THAT CALLED AND THEY TOLD US TO REORDER THE ORSER AND THEY WILL REFUND US SOUNDS SIMPLE RIGHT WRONG WE PROCEEDED TO REORDER THE ORDER MIND YOU WE LIVE IN THE MOUNTAINS HE GOES BACK DOWN TO GET THE ORDER THEY TOLD HIM THE ORGINAL IRDER HAS BEEN REFUNDED FOR 37$ WICH IS CONFUSING BECAUSE WHAT WE WERE MISSING COST US 57$ TO REORDER IT THERE TELLING US TO CALL IT EVEN AND JUST PICK UP THE ORDER AND WE DID NOT WE TOLD THEM TO THERE FACE TO CANCLE THE ORDER WE DDNT PICK IT UP WALKED OUT AND GOT A NOTIFICATION THAT THE ORDER HAS BEEN PICKED UP HOW CRAZY IS THIS NOW THERE SAYING THEY CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT AND THAT WE WILL HAVE TO CALL CORPORATE TO SETTLE ALL OF THIS IM NEVER SHOPPING AT SAFEWAY AGAIN THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME AND LAST TIME IDK IF THERE TRYNA GET MONEY OUT OF US OR WHAT BUT AT THIS POINT ITS OVER 200$ THATS BEEN SPENT FOR ONLY 9 ITEMS OUT OF 23

    This Safeway off Broadway and Mineral has been our primary choice for big box grocery stores the last 8 years. I will never go there again after several bad experiences with staff and the lack of items I need in stock. The store managers are horrible people who grind the corporate axe. You can tell they use all of their resources to re-organize the store all the time instead of focusing on the customers in the store. Last week I was there around 10am and it felt like there were 100 employees in the store running in all directions (in my way a lot). None of them ever said hello or seemed available for help with a question. It was very weird and impersonal. The top Manager was huddling with a few mini-managers and I walked up and said "you have 100 employees here today all talking amongst themselves and I can't get any help." I asked where the deli pizza dough was moved to and the main manager walked with me to the deli and then yelled into the back of the deli "Suzi (employee), can you help this guy?" She immediately walked away without a care or even realizing there was nobody back there to hear her request. I would have fired her due to horrible service if I was in charge. At no point did anyone come out to help so I was standing there saying hello, did anyone hear that request. I stood there for 5 minutes and then finally wandered around and found the pizza dough that was in a totally new location in their deli section. This vocal store manager leaves such a bad taste in my mouth and you can tell she ruins the morale of her employees. Corporate monsters! Denver Metro has a serious problem with it's grocery stores. They are all terrible compared to stores in other states. I will use King Soopers (which is also terrible), Whole Foods, and Trader Joe's from now on. They need to focus on customers more than re-organizing the store all the time. I seriously hate this place and after going there twice a week for 8 years I'm done. You could call it the last straw.
