  We’ve had some of our best company happy hours and dinners at Ocean Prime, and Shelby is a big reason why. She’s one of those rare bartenders who makes you feel like a regular the moment you sit down. Her attention to detail and effortless hospitality turn a casual drink into an experience. Shelby makes the best Old Fashioneds and espresso martinis in Denver — no contest — and she somehow keeps every glass and plate perfectly timed even when the bar is packed. Our team keeps coming back for the steaks (especially the steak frites), the lively atmosphere, and Shelby’s incredible service. She’s attentive, personable, and always a step ahead — Ocean Prime is lucky to have her.

  I came in for lunch to treat myself. I ordered a salad & sushi..... I never received salt & pepper, nor was I offered any ground pepper for more than 15 minutes after the salad arrived. Everyone else around the bar seating area received ground pepper on their soup/salad. I finally had to get up & get my own. I also did not receive a refill on my drink order. The Sushi roll took 55 minutes, despite others receiving their orders in 15 minutes. The manager delivered my sushi & I inquired about another drink... The manager was very professional, kind & apologetic, which I appreciated! They did comp 1 drink & the sushi, but I was there for a late lunch that took over 2.5 hours. I hope next time is better

  Our waiter, Dakota was so warm & inviting.. it made us feel like we were having dinner with a friend. The food was wonderful! We thought we'd be able to come back the next day; however, my daughter got discharged from the hospital sooner than expected.. Thanks for the great service! Btw: We had Lobster Bisque, a yummy salad and Teriyaki salmon

  An absolute 10/10 birthday experience for my sons. Greg took such great care of us from beginning to end. Not only his in-depth knowledge of the food, wine and ingredients but it's his table side manner that's to be commented as well! Now let's talk appetizers... deviled eggs with truffles and caviar will blow you away. An unexpected fabulous mixture of tastes that you didn't know you needed. The goat cheese ravioli is mild and sharp at the same time and the lobster bisque is thick, ultra creamy and LOADED with lobster. For main courses it was ahi tuna that was cooked to delicious perfection. Beef short ribs that literally disintegrate in your mouth, a lobster tail that tastes better than anything I've ever had up north and the absolute freshest sushi! Jeff, the bartender, is a true scientist who creates amazing boozy libations as well as phenomenal non-alcoholic treats. He's a secret weapon for sure. The atmosphere is truly welcoming, fairly formal and a little decadent without feeling stuffy. We'll be back!

  I was in a group of nine last Evening at OP. The short of it - my steak was outstanding, cooked perfectly, a really wonderful piece of meat. The service was really poor. Our server paid attention to four people at one end of the table and completely ignored the rest of us. Never asked to refill drinks, ask us if we wanted desert, nothing. Three times I had to ask a passing staff member for assistance. For such a high end restaurant with great food, their service was way below standard. BTW, since our waiter never asked if we wanted desert, I ended up ordering the carrot cake to go from another staff member. It wasn't very good. The steak was really good, the cake not.
