We had an awesome time trying this place for the first time. We had Leo as our server, and he was great! He checked on us the perfect amount of times, was friendly, and very prompt with things like boxes and the check. The menu is on the pricier side, but it is well worth it for the portions and the atmosphere of the restaurant. We were sat near the bar and could see the bartender having friendly interactions and was quick with the drinks. The shredded chicken was very flavorful and the house marg was delicious. The flan was small, but really all you need as it was very rich. We’re excited to come back and try the lunch specials!

I highly recommend Maria Bonita Restaurant to all my friends!!!
Great environment! Wonderful atmosphere!
I ordered a Long Island ice tea, and it was one of the best Long Island I’ve had( and I have a delicate pallet) Some of the best staff I have encountered! Ricardo (pictured) and Maria are my favorite bartenders, with great mixes and generous pours!
Coming here for Mexican cuisine is a go too!
They have added new flavors to their menu, the Alfredo pasta comes with shrimp and is absolutely delicious! I ordered it with chicken this time and have no complaints. The sauce was creamy and the chicken was well seasoned making my meal ever so easy to devour!
I will be coming back very soon!!!

We have been here 3 times in the past 2 weeks.
First visit was great! Food, service, everything was exceptional. I raved about it to my in-laws and we went for a second visit. Still decent but not at all like the first. Food took forever (it was lunch time and not even close to busy), service was subpar, and my food had the wrong meat (which they did fix). Once fixed it was delicious and craveable. Fast forward to tonight (visit 3) after raving about it to my parents to try, everything started off strong... until it didnt. Again I ordered the same shredded beef deluxe tostada and the meat was wrong. I corrected them, they brought it back and told me it was shredded beef and insist I taste it. I do so and just clearly based off looks it was chicken or pork and after taking a bite for them I told them again it was not shredded beef and I had ordered the same exact thing 3 days earlier. After several minutes and many messed up or missing parts from other family members meals, they bring me out the same exact plate and two sides of meat to show me what they claim is beef and chicken to know the difference. Again I told them that what they claimed was beef tonight was not. I think anyone could clearly know that beef isn't white.... and I had it 3 days prior. I left without eating at 26 weeks pregnant because at that point I was over it and when you have your heart set on something and it's continuously wrong, it gets frustrating. Especially when you had it THREE days prior; mind you this isn't my first time having shredded beef... I have been eating it for 30 years lol
They did comp my meal (as they should) but clearly the kitchen staff has no clue what meat is what.
Below are pictures of what they claim is beef vs chicken. Clearly this is not beef.... it has to be pork or some other white meat. Beef is not white...

I’ve been watching Maria Bonita being built and very much looking forward to it opening for business.
Just had lunch here with friends (7 in our group) and it was worth the wait!
I highly recommend Maria Bonita 😁👍🏻👍🏻
Food was great! Portions were great! Atmosphere was spectacular and our server, Florencio, was wonderful and witty 😁!
We will definitely be back and I’m very much looking forward to trying out their patios (upper and lower).
My one suggestion is to think about adding tomatoes/ pico de gallo, olives to the Taco salad. There was lots of chicken and the lettuce didn’t overpower, but I would have liked some additional flavors, along with the guacamole and sour cream.
I have a few things that help me rate Mexican food restaurants. One is the salsa. I prefer a salsa that's a little spicy and doesn't only taste of tomatoes. This one was very tomato tasting and somehow greasy. And they charge for more. Anyone who knows me, knows this is a deal breaker. Especially with the prices being so high!
Another good mark for me is that the nachos are good. You get meat, cheese and their version of beans. Maybe even guacamole and sour cream. These nachos had shredded chicken (SO DRY and no flavor but color was added with some type of red chili powder maybe?), very little cheese (they're nachos! I shouldn't have to seach for cheese!), very little refried beans (again no seasoning or flavor), guacamole (mediocre) and sour cream (the cheap one).
One of my friends had a burrito. It was okay. One had Carnitas (very large pieces, greasy and fatty) with flour Tortillas (tough to chew and thick), rice (crunchy) and beans (eh).
Restaurant was nice looking. Bathrooms clean. But!...Will not be back!
