The food was incredible from start to finish, but the tacos al carbon and the green chile stole the show. (And this is coming from someone who usually avoids green chile — theirs turned me into a fan instantly.) Everything I tried was fresh and flavorful: chile con queso, shrimp cocktail, fajita burrito, and those tacos with the most perfect tortillas. Add in a margarita, and it’s the kind of meal that keeps you coming back. This spot is a true Denver institution, and definitely worth a visit if you love Mexican food.
