Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently praised the friendly and helpful staff, with specific mentions of outstanding service from individual employees.

excited to have whataburger! I love whataburger! Well I can tell you I'm not very happy tonight! I got out of work around 9 so was probably there around 9:15pm! Ordered a 2 regular double burger with cheese! I had to pay a 4 dollars for 4 slices of cheese only got one slice of cheese on each burger! My burger had so much mustard on it that it was all i could taste! There where no pickles or even onions! The only thing that came out right was the drink and the fries! Ti make matters worst was that the person at the drive through window was wearing a trainer shirt! Which means he's in charge of training new hires! How about you train them better at making burgers! I'm very upset because I paid over 30l1 dollars for these 2 meals!

We stopped at this Whataburger right after arriving in Colorado Springs, hoping for a hot meal after a long day on the road. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and our food came out quickly — which we appreciated.
Unfortunately, the quality of the food didn’t match the hype. Our meals weren’t served hot, and the overall flavor was pretty underwhelming. The burgers lacked seasoning, and the fries tasted like they had been sitting for a while. It wasn’t terrible, but it definitely wasn’t enjoyable for us, especially after hearing so many people recommend the place.
The restaurant itself was clean and the service was kind, so I won’t rate it lower, but based on the food alone, this visit was a disappointment. Hoping for a better experience next time.

Went to this location today thought they were closed zero people inside zero people out nobody in the drive-through. It was nine dollars for two taquitos. I ordered sausage, egg, and cheese, but I had no sausage on either one. I eat Whataburger all the time in Texas and every time the food the service in CO makes me definitely not want to come back. I hope every Whataburger closes down in Colorado. They’re horrible. I didn’t order egg and cheese taquitos for nine bucks. I’ll just make them at home?

The food was good, but I have reason to question the sanitation. First off even though the fry containers were perfectly capable of standing, mine came tipped over with a lot of fries making contact with the tray.
What's worse is I was in the bathroom and someone went from the bathroom stall straight to the exit without washing his hands. I didn't see his face, but I saw he was a bigger man wearing an orange shirt so I'm pretty sure he was one of the employees.
Later I saw a guy who was probably him handling self serve drink station to "clean them". In his defense he was wearing sterile gloves and hopefully that's enough, but the fact he's likely the man who was taking a dump without washing his hands makes me very uncomfortable.
I will likely be avoiding this location in the future.
