- SVSam V5 days ago2.0Brought my 2yo for a Daddy/Daughter lunch. My daughter’s “nuggets” were overdone and hard as a rock. I had to shred them up into tiny pieces just for her to eat some. Also, my Steak and Veggie Kabob were supposed to be Medium. Im sure you can tell by the picture that they were not. The yellow rice also got stale very fast like it was microwaved. Unfortunately , we had errands to run, my daughter and I were hungry, and our waitress was very nice so i did not complain. We come here often for Brunch, and it is good…but this is the second time during lunch that we’ve come and the food is subpar and overcooked. 2/5 stars
- DCDot ColonNov 15, 20255.0My spouse and I ate dinner at Lazy Dog on N Academy, CO Spgs Sat 11/15/2025. The food and atmosphere were great, very high energy. Our server's name is Johnny! Johnny GETS 6 STARS! He was extremely professional, fun, and engaging. We ordered our 2 appetizers (cheese curds and brussel sprouts and he up-sold the trio item on the menu and he suggested the feta cheese item, all were very yummy. We both enjoyed the fried chicken dinner. Johnny is an amazing server and very interactive. Before we left, he informed us about the beer club promotion, and we also joined that. Thank you Johnny for a wonderful experience!

The restaurant was very busy and it was very loud as there were many kids and their families in there after a soccer tournament. Lazy dog can handle groups of just a few to putting many tables together to seat what looked like over 50 people! Everything our group ate was delicious. I had the tortilla soup and half chicken salad sandwich with a side of the house salad. Someone else got the s'more's brownie! Our waitress was very attentive and very happy. The prices on the menu seemed comparable to other restaurants around town. I would highly recommend Lazy Dog!
- RDRedd DubbNov 14, 20253.0Terrible experience, was sat in the back and barely greeted. Also waited over 15 minutes for our server to never show up to even ask us for drinks. Would not recommend, honestly better off getting fast food. As I was walking out disappointed, the hostess didn’t even wish me a good night or say a word. Terrible terrible terrible service. I added photos so you could see how empty it was and how there wasn’t even a hostess at the front desk. UPDATE: JOHNNY K. SAVED THE DAY! He was the only one to seek resolution for these issues. On top of that, he’s a real genuine guy and I could tell he truly wanted to help. I can’t say that for the others as no one else reached out with a helping hand but thank you Johnny for taking your time with my wife and I. He was able to turn this into a pleasant experience and if there’s any reason I come back, it’s going to be for him. Be sure to ask for Johnny when you speak to the hostess. I switched my 1 star rating to 3 stars in honor of his efforts but I do believe the overall restaurant experience needs improvement. Thank you Johnny for doing your best!

I have NEVER had a business care enough to go out of their way to hear the reasoning behind a - not so great - review and THEN put forth HUGE effort to make it right for the customer. I was contacted on multiple platforms by the manager (Alex) to hear my story and then he took it upon himself to not only provide a beautiful dinner - with excellent service - for my daughter and her fiancé - but to then provide me with a gift card to use the next time I'm in town. The communication was excellent, the apologies were genuine and the remedy to the first experience far exceeded any customer service I've EVER received. Being made to feel valuable and heard as a customer is absolutely the reason for the new review. I'm beyond impressed! THANK YOU Alex and I can't wait to give lazy dog another go!
