    I ordered delivery and never received my food. Hours later, I went to the store to find out what happened. The manager told me they made my order twice and gave it to two different drivers, yet they refused a refund and even denied making it. I was then stuck going back and forth between El Pollo Loco employees and Grubhub, even though I had ordered through El Pollo Loco’s own website. I felt like I was the only one trying to resolve the issue. I was told the manager “Jay” would contact me, but that never happened. I later learned from a driver that my order was given to the wrong address because the employees were confused at handoff. Integrity and accountability are clearly lacking at this location. Don’t waste your money here.

    They got the food order wrong. Took it back less than 2 minutes after realizing. Instead of finding a solution or just making a new order they wanted to argue. After going back and forth for 5-10 minutes I asked if they could give me back my money or just make it right. They refused to refund the order. They offered to make one of two dishes right when they were both wrong. I didn’t realize my first time going there was going to be the last. If you mess up the order just make it right and don’t make the customer feel like it’s their fault when you acknowledged the order was wrong to begin with.

    The only good thing here ... the nice worker guy in the drive through. The food? Horrible. I got two basic tacos, it took 15 mins sitting in the drive through with no other cars. The food? Yuck, to be fair. VERY disappointed since I remember them from California in the early 90's and they were very tasty!. I had high hopes but it was so bad I threw both tacos away after a few bites. The avocado was brown and tasted old, and the taco was stuffed but everything tasted old. The chicken was cold. And the red sauce was goopy, and definitely not salsa. It was so awful I needed to write this review!

    Decided to try it because it's new. First, the pros: 1. It's got a decently sized menu 2. The prices aren't terrible. 3. The Chipotle chicken quesadillas are really delicious. 4. The sauces taste fresh. The cons: 1. I went in early, so it wasn't busy and they STILL got my order wrong. 2. The quesadilla didn't have hardly any meat or cheese. It was cut into thirds and one piece was 2/3 empty. 3. The burrito was 90% rice. 4. The little side of chips were almost all broken up into little shards. 5. The chicken breast was missing the skin, and since the spices/flavor in mostly in the skin, it was like any other dry chicken breast. Not sure if I'll go back, I'm definitely on the fence.

    The food overall was average. Average is not a bad thing because there are so many great restaurants out there. It is hard to be exceptional. The chicken was good but a little dry - average. Broccoli is broccoli - average. Sauces - below average. The tortilla was very store bought quality, but a little gummy - below average. Macaroni and cheese - above average. That side can be really disappointing sometimes. When I went back for another visit they gave me the wrong sides. They would not just replace the wrong sides. They insisted on a receipt. I could not find it. I had went outside to get my jacket because the dining room was cold. Therefore, it got misplaced somehow. There turned out to be a little bit of an argument about it. I asked for the manager. Turns out it was the manager giving me grief. I let them know this is just really bad customer service over your mistake. An employee chimed in saying that is just not necessary that I insist this is wrong. When the initial honeymoon is over with the public, I don't foresee this place being very successful unless some changes are made.
