While that technically addresses the error, it didn’t account for the time or inconvenience involved.** **I do want to reiterate that the person who took our order was excellent. She was genuinely pleasant, patient, and professional. That positive interaction stood out and deserves to be recognized separately from how the rest of the experience and follow-up were handled. I’m including this for transparency about the process, not to single any individual out.** We stopped at McDonald’s early Sunday morning, and unfortunately the experience missed the mark. One of our two sandwiches was incorrect, and both were room temperature When we opened the bag (5 minutes). The biggest disappointment was the coffee, both cups were lukewarm at best. I understand that mistakes happen, and part of this was on us for not checking our order before getting back on the road, but the cold coffee was tough to overlook. Hopefully this was just an off moment for the team.
