All the amazing Vietnamese food we’ve been enjoying lately totally inspired us to dream about a trip… but for now, we did the next best thing and visited one of the most authentic spots in Little Saigon at Sip Restaurant. It was our first time trying many of these unique dishes and drinks, and we were seriously impressed! We ordered: 🥤 Iced Coconut Coffee 🥥 🥤 Iced Egg Coffee 🥚 🥤 Iced Pandan Fresh Milk 🌱 🍗 Crispy Chicken Skin Rice 🥩 Wagyu Steak w/ Black Pepper Sauce The drinks absolutely blew us away. The coconut coffee was bold and rich, the egg coffee had the most delicious whipped topping, sweet, extra creamy, and the perfect complement to the strong Vietnamese coffee. The pandan fresh milk was so refreshing and ended up being a huge hit with my kiddos. The mains were just as incredible. The fried chicken had perfectly crispy skin, coated in a spicy, sweet, citrusy sauce and served with crunchy fried rice. The Wagyu steak was unreal, super peppery, saucy, and packed with flavor. We loved all the extras too: cheese, eggs, veggies, and pâté. Such an amazing way to start the day! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience 💛

Ordered: Bo Ne Wagyu w/pepper sauce, Garlic noodle with fried shrimp, Banh Canh & Glass Noodle w/chicken ovaries and intestines. There wasn't that wow factor but their food was good. First time trying Bo Ne and it was yummy, loved dipping the bread into the sauce. Their portion sizes were nice and shareable. The service was friendly but please offer water. The place looked simple, but there was food scraps left on the table and chair from previous diners when we sat down.

Sip Restaurant + Coffee in Westminster, CA is a hidden gem! We went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, and there was a wait and a long line; now I can see why! We ordered the Salmon Fried Rice for $16, the Garlic Noodles with Salmon for $16, and the Banh Mi Chao Bo Wagyu Dac Biet for $21. The food was so good. I'm all about texture, so I really liked that the fried rice came with flaky, grilled salmon pieces. It was a nice touch. The garlic noodles were also excellent! There is a parking lot, but it was full when we went, so luckily, we were able to find street parking right next to the restaurant. Note that there is some limited outdoor seating, so we were offered the option to sit outside without a wait. However, since it was a little cold and raining, we preferred the indoor seating.

Sip Restaurant & Coffee is a fantastic find in Westminster! The restaurant was buzzing and full of energy when we visited, the staff handled everything smoothly with almost no wait – seated quickly and food came out fast. Ordered a variety of dishes and everything was delicious: the crispy fried squid was perfectly golden and crunchy, the sizzling Wagyu beef in creamy mushroom sauce was rich and tender, the traditional Vietnamese beef stew was soul-warming, and the tendon & beef ball sate noodle had that perfect spicy kick with chewy tendon. Authentic flavors, huge portions, and surprisingly affordable prices – amazing value! Friendly service and great vibes. Can’t wait to return!

This restaurant showed up on my reels from Instagram and I knew I had to try it out. Be forewarned it’s busy so there was a waitlist (went pretty quickly). Service was a little slow but to be expected on today (new years). Food portions were giant! Totally worth the price bc you get your money’s worth plus some… and pricing was affordable. They had a lot of options and I literally wanted to try it all. We had the wagyu hot plate, papaya salad, chicken wings, fries and popcorn chicken. Also tried the pandan drink and salted coffee/egg coffee. Delicious! Except for the popcorn chicken- it was bland and not thoroughly cooked so I would skip this one. Everything else was on point. I’d like to come back and try the other dishes. It’s a small space and a little chaotic inside though. And they were sold out of the hot plate I wanted to try. They have different options/sauces- we had the black pepper. There’s also tomato sauce, pate sauce and salted egg sauce! The honey mustard dip they had with their fries was like crack- so good.
