- CRChristopher RossiterSep 19, 20253.0I wanted to like it but did not. During the first visit there was not enough staff so the wait was ridiculous. I’m not sure if this was an isolated instance. The second visit no food served at all dispute it being lunch. I suspect understaffing was the reason. It’s a cafe inside a bank so it seems not as serious as a standalone coffee shop that needs to operate towards customers. Regarding banking their ATMs are closed outside normal business hours so what is the point.

It was a busy time and only one barista workinf that day so we were waiting at the counter seats for a while for our coffees. As we were waiting, my partner rested his head on the table for a few seconds and this white security guy immediately walked over and told him he had to open his eyes and stay awake. I told him “he is awake” and the guy kept talking down to us like we were doing something wrong. He was rude, condescending, and literally power tripping so hard off being a cafe security man. Lol. Not saying my partner was profiled for being Black, but I can say that no one else in the cafe was being bothered. I left absolutely pissed off and ready to switch banks. Don't bother with this place.

How do I bank at a Capital One Café?
Capital One Cafés offer a modernized, friendly approach to banking that provides a low pressure way to get support. While we don’t have traditional bank tellers in our Cafés, customers can use our self-service options to get everyday banking done., even on the weekend. Ambassadors are on hand to assist you along the way with your banking questions, and can even help you apply for an account. Capital One Checking account holders can use Café ATMs fee-free to check their balance, deposit or withdraw cash, make credit card payments and more. Come in for everyday banking–stay to enjoy a handcrafted beverage. You can also:
- Replace, reissue or activate your debit card
- Lock and unlock your debit card
- Change your debit card PIN
- Receive sign-in support
- Update account information like your address, phone number and email address

Account holders (18+) can reserve a nook—a private workspace with tables and outlets—when they’re in the Café or from their Capital One mobile app. When in the Café, visitors can scan the QR code on the door of the nook to access the reservation portal to complete their booking. As of December 2024, account holders can make reservations in the Capital One mobile app by searching for their preferred Café, viewing the details of that Café and selecting "Reserve a Nook" to access the reservation portal.
